I have yet to figure out why that is happening as i cannot replicate it but removing

Code: Select all

|| $auth->acl_get('u_viewonline')
from that line will fix it.

Every time I've come across that error, it was 1 of 3 things.

The person forgot to copy memberlist_avatar.css to style/your_style/theme, forgot to add the line to the stylesheet.css

Code: Select all

@import url("memberlist_avatar.css");
, or messed up the edit for the profile template.

Sorry, but I should have mentioned, we are running Prosilver ... and having the problem with the friends avatars stacking vertically, with the text not holding position above each image either.

I thought I followed the instructions very carefully, so now I'm confused? :(

Well, checked the memberlist_avatar.css & stylesheet.css files, which are in place and edited to the requirements of the mod ... so is it something to do with the profile template? ... should I post it here??

... may remove this Mod, as it just looks untidy and unprofessional with the issues I'm having on my attempted install! :(

Regardless, thanks for the help everyone.

you are not loading the style sheet provided correctly. You may need to try taking the contents of the style sheet and place it in common.css or one of them.

Tried re-uploading the stylesheet and "refresh" on the theme, but still no joy (ready to give up!!)

Oh yeah, and I lost all my custom colours in the process (one reason I am always leary o Mods - as they can't possibly be bomb proof with so many variations of custom settings on individuals boards)

This is caused by the person that changed all the colors in the Admin Control Panel, never change the style sheets vis the styles tab in the ACP. Once you click refresh on the theme they will be overwritten with the file system. The MOD has nothing to do with that

I really do not know why the MOD is not working for you as looking in your page source is hard, you have sever things loaded above </head> that are tables etc and should not really be there.

Makes a lot of sense, the trouble is .. I wouldn't know how to lock down those changes elsewhere, so I've backup up the custom style editor file for that very reason. We did a lot of font & table/background colour work on our forum, which in the early days (before I knew what I was doing) .... manually edited through the theme (style editor) ACP option.

So, with regard to the avatar/username stacking issue, could you recommend a file (or area) I should be looking at, in order to hopefully identify the problem? ... I understand it's difficult to identify an issue from a user point of view, so if I know what file to look into, I'm happy to investigate myself.

Cheers!
