There's another small bug in 10.0.10: quick-editing a post unsets these options (althougt they appear checked when we open the full editor):

Disable BBCode
Disable smilies
Do not automatically parse URLs

Any chance you can get to the Sticky option already? :)

1. That's a small bug in 1.0.9:

Open quickedit.php
Find:

Code: Select all

        'S_LINKS_ALLOWED'            => $img_status,
Replace with:

Code: Select all

        'S_LINKS_ALLOWED'        => $url_status,
        'S_BBCODE_IMG'            => $img_status,
There's still to do this edit in 10.0.10. ;)

The MOD ignores those options, it doesn't unset them. Anyhow, this should be fixed.

Crap, forgot that. :(

@Posey: I'm currently kind of busy, since I have to do a lot of things after being sick for one week. Please be a little more patient. ;)

You're welcome, although I have to admit that Version 1.0.10 is actually kind of buggy. Anyhow, I'm already working on 1.0.11, which will pretty much fix all those errors. ;)

This thing has certianly mutated into a bigger project than it was the first time I came across this mod and downloaded it...

I wonder if I need to update it. I don't even know which version I downloaded...

All it does is puts the text into a textarea in the post and lets me submit that. No attachment or anything like that...

It works perfectly and I'm happy with it... what are the full feature list for the current version?

Features:
  • Quick Edit Button for a quick edit of your post without reloading the page
  • BBCodes
That's pretty much it. ;)
Anyhow, it is very important to know what version you have installed, since 1.0.6 had a security bug.
If you have that version installed, update to 1.0.9 or 1.0.10 immediately.

P.S: Your Stats MOD is a little bit buggy and abandonned. :lol:

marc you ever get a chance to look into making the OG edit button clickable twice? once to go into quick edit. then once in quick edit if you click edit again it will take you to advanced?

i have your 'go advanced' little add-on (if you wanna call it) installed.

I just released the newest version of AJAX Quick Edit: http://www.m-a-styles.de/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=80

Changes to 1.0.10:
  • [Bug] Unable to highlight message
  • [Bug] Inline attachments show only English title
  • [Changed] Added missing update instructions
  • [New] Textarea scrolls into view
  • [Support] AJAX Quick Edit 1.0.7 and 1.0.8 will not be supported anymore

@thejdm: Update to 1.0.11 and I'll get you a one edit instruction. ;)

edit: Ok, 2 edits, but that's it. ;)

edit2: Ok, it isn't that easy after all. :roll:

edit3: But it's still done: http://www.m-a-styles.de/viewtopic.php? ... p=689#p689
