I the mod is great, but I have no use for it without the mod in active topics

I installed this on phpBB 3.0.5 and it's working great. I have a large board with lots of categories so now users can display categories of there interest. The best part is that it saves the settings in the database. Great mod! It took me a few minutes to find the settings in the UCP.

Code: Select all

Parse error: parse error in C:\xampp\htdocs\premod\includes\functions_display.php on line 142
Line 142

Code: Select all

if (!$auth->acl_get('f_list', $user_index_array = unserialize($user->data['user_index']);$forum_id) || (isset($user_index_array[$forum_id]) && ($user_index_array[$forum_id] == 0) && $auth->acl_get('f_display', $row['forum_id'])))

You've done an inline before-add on the inline-find, when it should have been a regular before add on the previous overall find. Hence the code should be:

Code: Select all

$user_index_array = unserialize($user->data['user_index']);
if (!$auth->acl_get('f_list', $forum_id) || (isset($user_index_array[$forum_id]) && ($user_index_array[$forum_id] == 0) && $auth->acl_get('f_display', $row['forum_id'])))

Have you thought about letting users to ignore topics which they don't want to read?

There was something like that for phpbb2 (in modified by przemo version). And I think it would be kind of useful :)

I have 2 questions:

1) Where exactly can I set the permissions? In the module "Permissions" or in "Users & Groups"? I don't find it...

2) Is this MOD compatible to the new version 3.0.6?

Thanks for answering!
I try my best to write correct english but if it's not so correctly please apologise to this :)

Hey I have installed this. Edited the files properly and ran the SQL too. But I'm getting a blank white display when I go to my forum. What could be wrong?

3.0.5 - Envision(subsilver2)

==EDIT==

I have rechecked and edited the files properly. I see no error now. But where do I set the permissions from in ACP? :S

Also, when I go to UCP>Board Preferences>Manage displayed forums ....I get this:

Image

Why so many times it got to say "You cannot choose to not display this forum" ? Or does this line appear beside the forum name?
