You are the second person to report this. Sounds like a problem with AutoMOD. Up until now there have been no issues reported. Did AutoMOD actually say that it installed? Or did you have to use the Forced Install option? (which doesn't really do the complete install)

FYI i tried the Force install which didnt do anything either. Im just wondering if its anything related to the file permissions. Im aware the store/mods folder had to be writeable but can you confirm what the folder permissions have to be for the others?

Also if i have to edit the files manually, can you confirm where i can find the instructions?

At this point I would recommend a manual install. See this and this.

If AutoMOD doesn't do it for you then yes. Installation with AutoMOD was tested when this was approved though...

You'll need to find out if Aero Red is based on prosilver or subsilver2. I believe it's based on subsilver2 but don't quote me on that. In such a case you need to apply the subsilver2 edits to your template. The style edits for this MOD aren't very elaborate so I think they should match up just fine.

Hi David (and TaleTN),
First: great mod, my hat off to you.
Second: I am eager to get this MOD on the road myself... I bumped into a problem and installed it manually (according the provided install.xml), purged, cleared cache, etc.
Sad part is: this MOD does not respond on my site at all.
All codes and copies have been done according the installation instructions.
Alas: no errors but also no MOD.
I checked the code over and over and read this entire thread. No given solution or remark could help me out.

I also have another style installed so swapped everything back to Subsilver2 (also for guests), since this MOD should work with Subsilver2 and Prosilver.

Link to my TEST-site: http://www.metalrush.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2
(LARGE IMAGE ALERT !!)

I would really appreciate if you could swing by and have a look.

TIA!

[EDIT]
I changed my style to my (extra) installed style -proFormell- , where (to my surprise) the pictures DO resize... but no buttons to zoom (nor the functionality when you click on them).
So it does work... somewhat... but not as it is intended... :|
I am baffled...

The image you have in that topic is 800x600. Your settings are coming up as:

Code: Select all

var reimg_maxWidth = 800, reimg_maxHeight = 600, reimg_relWidth = 100;
Doesn't exactly do anything as the image matches up exactly with that ;)

As far as your other style not showing the button that would be because you have to refresh the imageset.

can mod at any .php to make my image align horizontal

example, if i set image to resize at 320x240, so the thumbnails is very small, then how can the thumbnail align horizontal, not vertical.
