Will this enable different favicon for every particular forum?

Congratulation anyway for a validated MOD. :D

A couple of questions:
  1. Does the favicon still have to be an .ico file called favicon.ico?
  2. Where does the favicon need to be placed?
Thanks in advance.

my guess is that i need to rename all the "FAVICON_URL" to "http://mysite.com/favicon.ico" (if i want to use the same icon) right?

@Oyabun1
1/no, It also work with png/gif/jpg...& the file name can be called anything
2/Too add a favicon: go to ACP =>Board settings=>Favicon:
put your image URL there. You can use:

Code: Select all

http://www.favicon.co.uk/gallery.php
http://mppierce66.home.comcast.net/~mppierce66/web/fi/
http://www.html-kit.com/favicon/gallery/
or google for "favicon gallery"

@greenwizard
No, you don't have to upload the favicon to your website. It can be for example "http://image_hosting.com/filename.png

Does this only work with the default themes, I see there is now support for subsilver2, but i'm running a different theme all together I'm running a style called WoWMoonclaw, seems much like the basic styles just has a mask making it look like it does.., i'm getting the errors:

[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /adm/index.php on line 150: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /language/en/acp/board.php:1)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /adm/index.php on line 152: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /language/en/acp/board.php:1)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /adm/index.php on line 153: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /language/en/acp/board.php:1)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /adm/index.php on line 154: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /language/en/acp/board.php:1)

Anyone know why this is?

Also why is there a file included, however the XML file says there are not other files included (the liscense information is understandable but there is also a modx.prosilver.en.xsl file added.. What do i do with this file? Is it the reason why i'm getting these errors?
