No, this is the second edit to be made for the file, so it will be the first one you find after the preceding find.

Just replace the changed files with the backups you should have made before doing the edits, if you don't have those then go back through the edits in reverse order and undo the changes you made.

See a few negative posts on this one? little suprised? i did some testing with this mod a while back before release. and found it very stable, and the author very helpfull with any issues. I did have issues myself but were simply my own fault due to errors in the edits i made.

As has been stated. remeber authors do this for nothing in return so a little patience is not to much to ask?? :roll:

I have this MOD working.

You have to make sure you have the forum permissions to allow registered users to karma other users.

Or perhaps nobody wants to give you karma, maybe that's why you still have zero.

I think than autor didn't testing anythings... look at session.php line:
"require($phpbb_root_path . 'includes/functions_karma.' . $phpEx);"
includes/functions_karma - must be 'includes/mods/functions_karma...

MatteoMWP wrote:I don't know who validated this MOD but I think they could have done a better job. I found several issues.

1.
Many edits were hard to find because there were multiple instances of them. For example, in includes/acp/acp_modules.php

The following code find occurs more than once:

Code: Select all

		else
		{
It's hard to determine which place you should make the edit.

2.
In includes/session.php it says to make the following edit:

Code: Select all

		// [+] Karma MOD
		if (!class_exists('karmamod'))
		{
			require($phpbb_root_path . 'includes/functions_karma.' . $phpEx);
		}
		global $karmamod;
		$karmamod = new karmamod();
		// [-] Karma MOD
But the MOD tells you to upload functions_karma.php to includes/mods/ so it throws off an error until you upload function_karma.php to the correct directory which would be simply includes/

3.
I have Karma power disabled. I tested the MOD by giving 1+ karma to one of my members.

In View Topic it shows I gave them 1 karma:
Image

But in UCP when viewing their karma comments it shows I gave them 5 karma:

I don't think this MOD was ready to be released.
I think they didn't watch the template changes :lol:

I was wondering if you knew/know...in FireFox 3.0.15 the Karma Toplist at the bottom of the board index only displays 3 top users, regardless of what is set in the ACP, yet in Internet Explorer all are displayed. I have attempted to find the routine that builds the toplist but have not found it at the moment...just thought I would bring it to your attention.

UPDATE:
I manually gave the $this->config['toplist_users'] a value of 20 in the top of includes/mods/functions_karma.php and now twenty users are displayed in the Karma Toplist at the bottom of the board index.

Why for register users "Users in toplist:" is only 3? How I can make more?
