There are no edits to index.php for any style. It is index_body.html and >all< styles have one.

I don't know what style revolution is based off of (you can tell by browsing that styles theme directory and if there is a bidi.css and colours.css then it is, more than likely, a prosilver based style. If there aren't then subsilver2 based). Then just do the edits, per the install.xml file, to the style as necessary.

Hi,
I have installed mChat and everything seemed to go well, but the buttons "Send", "BBcodes and "Smileys" does not work.
I have checked twice my edits of the files. I have granted guest and registered users all the permissions for mChat.
Also, I have test it with BBcodes and Smileys disabled at the forum, in order to see if any of them disturb the operation.
There are several MODs installed: GYM Sitemaps & RSS, Print post, Ajax Dock menu
Please, take a look at:
http://postventa2.vioque.org/foros/
and let me know what do you think.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there. Running in to a small problem.

I currently have WP-United installed on my forum and this mod. The template shows the chatbox fine, that works with no problem.

The problem is when you create a post or the page reloads, it for some reason, reloads the entire page inside of the little frame (you can see the header of WP United there) and then goes blank.

Any thoughts on how I can change this to an IFRAME or maybe even remove the call to the page header or something to work around this?

You have two jquery.js files...remove this one from your overall_header.html file

Code: Select all

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://postventa2.vioque.org/foros/styles/prosilver/template/jquery.js">
make sure to refresh your template after removing that.

Hi RMcGirr83,
Thank you for you quick and excellent support.
That was the reason. If I rename that script, the chat starts working. The problem is that I put that script because is part of another MOD: Ajax Dock Menu.
I will try to find a solution. I will post it here i I found it.

Thanks again.

Both do the same thing...you only need one of them and the dock menu should work just fine as well (I know it does because I tested it when we were testing the mod).

Got a really small problem here, when opening BBCodes to add them to a message im writing, im not seeing the BBCodes until hovering, the button is white, with white borders and white text on a white background.
When i hover it the borders get blue and so does the text.

I found about every thing where to edit it, but only not how to edit that, can you point me in the right direction?

Perfect!
I removed the one fron Dock menu and both MODs are working.

Thanks again.

Well it isn't exactly perfect. For example, if you decide to disable the mChat mod in the ACP then your dockmenu will stop working as well. A fix for it would be to replace this in your overall_header.html (what you removed)

Code: Select all

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://postventa2.vioque.org/foros/styles/prosilver/template/jquery.js">
with this

Code: Select all

<!-- IF not S_MCHAT_ENABLE -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://postventa2.vioque.org/foros/styles/prosilver/template/jquery.js">
<!-- ENDIF -->
then the dock menu will work whether or not the mChat is enabled.

Any chance for a word filter/censor of any kind?
