Open your ACP and click on "User registration settings" under the Board Configuration Heading. Now just look for "Countdown" in the General options area.

Open your ACP and click on Registration settings in the sidebar. Then browse down and look for Countdown.

Changes 1.0.0 to 1.0.1:
  • Reworked script with JQuery
  • Added fix for Internet Explorer
I now use JQuery, as this will add a better support for other browsers.

Hi.

I've just installed this mod via automod but it is still not working in IE8.

It probably is an error on my part, I think. Any ideas?

The script breaks at:

Code: Select all

var div_backup = $('#fake_agreed').val();
and

Code: Select all

$(document).ready(function(){
	countDown();
});
with error: Object expected

EDIT: Not working for FF either. Stupid question: since you use JQuery, is the library included or do I have to include it in the template(s)?

Have you uploaded countdown.js to your template folder? That is the JQuery library. ;)

DOH!!!!

That was the problem. I'm using the prosilver se style and I assumed it would get the js file from the prosilver dir just as it gets the html files. Should have checked with firebug, lol.

Thanks.
