I think you missed my response due to my inability to properly close the bbcode quote tag.

Totally 8-) I just registered a new user and it went through OK. Could it have anything to do with registration requiring filling in a custom profile field?

Thanks!

ETA: I just noticed they are not quite identical (the words around the CAPTCHA, not the code in the CAPTCHA)

I am wondering if their is a way to change it so it will email all admin's and not just the single email listed in the email settings which is set to no-reply@mydomain.com which does not even exist as to keep my email private...

Any suggestions would be awesome!

Thanks

Ok, new problem... Until I figured something else out I changed the email settings to be my actual email address and submitted a test email on the contact page and nothing ever arrives... ?

What email does it send the contact form to if not the ones listed in email settings

**EDIT**
Also found a small bug....
In root/contact.php the following code is above the language setup

Code: Select all

// check to make sure mod is enabled
if (!$config['contact_enable'])
{
	trigger_error ('CONTACT_DISABLED');
}

// language(s) we need...why re-invent the wheel?
$user->setup(array('ucp','mods/contact'));
$user->add_lang('posting');
which causes the error to just show on the page as "CONTACT_DISABLED" and not the actual error message intended.

Corrected code:

Code: Select all

// language(s) we need...why re-invent the wheel?
$user->setup(array('ucp','mods/contact'));
$user->add_lang('posting');

// check to make sure mod is enabled
if (!$config['contact_enable'])
{
	trigger_error ('CONTACT_DISABLED');
}

It will send an email to admins or the board founder (depends on the settings set in the ACP). At least one admin must allow to be contacted via email as set in their UCP.

Concerning the language boo-boo, hrmph, guess I will have to update this mod.

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /contact.php on line 553: Undefined index: CONTACT_BOARD_ADMIN
This is what I get when I switch languages with the new Language Selection mod (which is great). I think for this, you'd need to edit a file in each language installed, for the Contact link to look right. Other than that, the Contact form still opens as it should.

Make sure you also upload the included language files from en into whatever language you are using on the forum as well as make any edits to the language files as the mod has you make to the en language files.

It should be, can't see why it wouldn't be.

I'm still trying to figure out why the captcha doesn't work. The board is 3.0.7 with the security patch.

I can't find admin permissions to manage this, how to add this permission to non-founders?

As with any module the group/user has to be able to have permission to the module.

@Robert, the captcha will follow the board default.

Ah yes, I thought I had changed the captcha but apparently did not.

It works as expected now.
