This is so handy, particularly since i am going to be having several groups listed.

Is there any way to have them listed in the 'Manage Groups' by their legend order? Such as, 1 at the top, 2 second from the top, 22 at the bottom? or even 0 at the top followed by 1.

I'm surprised this wasn't part of the phpbb coding out of the box.

Thank you for the mod and all your time.

Post a snippet of the code before and after line 705 of that file. It is likely a missing semi colon or a comma somewhere or a line break in the wrong spot. (say five lines up and a couple past).

This line -

Code: Select all

            ORDER BY g.group_type ASC, g.group_legend_pos
Should be looking like this.

Code: Select all

            ORDER BY g.group_type ASC, g.group_legend_pos';

Code: Select all

        // Get us all the groups
        $sql = 'SELECT g.group_id, g.group_name, g.group_type, g.group_legend_pos
            FROM ' . GROUPS_TABLE . ' g
            ORDER BY g.group_type ASC, g.group_legend_pos';
        $result = $db->sql_query($sql);

Yep, I think CoC got it. The missing semicolon makes the error you saw and for the sql statement, the ticks around the word needed to be there.

Instead of notepad, I would recommend you get another editor. I use notepad++

Can I make it appear "Leyenda" rather than "Legend" ?

Yes, is that what you want?

Open - language/en/acp/groups.php
Find -

Code: Select all

    'GROUP_LEGEND_POS'            => 'Group Legend Position',
    'GROUP_LEGEND_POS_EXPLAIN'    => 'This setting allows you to set which position the legend is on the index.',
Replace With -

Code: Select all

    'GROUP_LEGEND_POS'            => 'Group Leyenda Position',
    'GROUP_LEGEND_POS_EXPLAIN'    => 'This setting allows you to set which position the Leyenda is on the index.',
