I have edited the install instructions to work with phpbb3.0.6. My testing is limited to "It installed" and "I can update the group_legend_pos"

If you compare the XML I posted against the original, you will find the differences. I recommend using a tool like winmerge (on windows platforms) to do the comparing.

winmerge or meld are handy tools and make a manual check on changes a simple process. I've taken Gremlinn's code changes and updated this to today's modx and added an upgrade from 102 to 103 in the contrib folder. there are 2 files in there, one before upgrading to phpBB3.0.6 and one after upgrading to phpBB3.0.6 -- totally untested but there if you want to try it :

any probs, let us know,

I get the following error after I was done with uninstalling this mod since it didn't work for me for whatever reason.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /mydomain.com/includes/acp/acp_groups.php on line 720
Here's the code from this line:

Code: Select all

			$type = ($row['group_type'] == GROUP_SPECIAL) ? 'special' : 'normal';
Can anyone please help me fixing this?

edit: nvm i just forgot to add '; a few lines above

Hey I Would like to uninstall this mod and install a better one
would anyone tell me how may i remove this sql command from my database?

Code: Select all

ALTER TABLE phpbb_groups ADD group_legend_pos SMALLINT(4) UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT '0';
Edit: Nevermind i've deleted it from phpmyadmin :)

if others will need to drop that table this sql code will do it

Code: Select all

ALTER TABLE phpbb_groups DROP group_legend_pos SMALLINT(4) UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT '0';
