What reason would there be to use a newer version vs the "global" instant redirect that already works perfectly?

As I remember the old version didn't work in Internet Explorer.
When You post You get redirected to the top of the thread and not to Your new post.
If You have the old version, You can check this.

The new version works both in Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Uh.... i'm using

Code: Select all

/**
* Meta refresh assignment
*/
function meta_refresh($time, $url)
{
   global $template;

   $url = redirect($url, false);
and that works wonderfully for me all over the place.... on both IE and firefox...

I remember posting that somewhere too. It replaces all meta redirects with instant ones. It definateley breaks some of the anchors for ie though, which probably was one of the reason why they added the screen in the first place (and having a link back to the forum may be good for some people ;))

Purge the cache, check if the images are there at all. :)

Purged the cache as well. When I try to edit my theme's imageset, it appears as being the Quick Reply [en] image but it doesn't show on the board.

This might be a completely unrelated question, but for some reason the wait time of when I click 'submit' to when I see the post is like 8 seconds. Is there a reason why it's so slow?

It's either your local connection or the host.
