it is mostly in the includes folder that the editting occurs. not much for style editting.

There is no editing in the includes folder and neither is there style editing :)

Find:

Code: Select all

After, add:

Code: Select all

isn't the functions.php and ucp_pm_compose.php in the includes folder?

Hi! thanks for the mod!

I have installed it both in local and online.
In local it works perfectly...but online when, for example, i write a message, it doesn't show immediately the message but firt it shows a blank page(where there's a sentence sayng that I'm being redirected)and after 1 second I'm redirected.
is it a server problem?

Hope u've understood me..

Thanks

Yes, it's a server problem. Any chance you're on a windows server? The only thing you can do is move to a different (apache) server...

Thanks for this mod Evil3
I have been using it for some time now with no problems.

I have a redirect question for You though :D
How do I extend the redirect time for users that have reported a post?
Or disable it completely?
I am done with phpBB

Hi,
I've modified the true parameter in the meta_refresh functions of the includes/functions.php file, in order to remove the confirmation page:

Code: Select all

/**
* Meta refresh assignment
*/
function meta_refresh($time, $url)
{
	global $template;

	$url = redirect($url, false);

	// For XHTML compatibility we change back & to &
	$template->assign_vars(array(
		'META' => '<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="' . $time . ';url=' . str_replace('&', '&', $url) . '" />')
	);
}
This hack works fine in Firefox but not in IE.
In particular, IE browser redirect to the top of the page, not to the specific post.

Why this?
Where is the error?
Is it in the redirect function?

Is it possible to solve, without installing the contrib version of the "Instant Post Redirect" ?

Thank you in advance.
