Try to ask in the support forum. Your request has nothing to do with this mod.

Actually it does, it added a "quote" text link in each user profile right below the user name and avatar.

Actually, no it doesn't as it does not edit either viewtopic.php nor viewtopic_body.html. I think you may be thinking of prime halos quick reply mod but not sure.

Solved.

For anyone with this issue, go to includes/functions.php

Look for $url= redirect($url, true) and correct it to be false. or copy below...

Code: Select all

/**
* Meta refresh assignment
*/
function meta_refresh($time, $url)
{
   global $template;

   $url = redirect($url, false);

Well postng from the posting editor, that takes you to the top of the topic and not your last post. but whatever I suppose.

btw, i think you are running an old version of phpbb3.

I'm getting an error loading the page when clicking "Who Is Online". The url generated is

http://appmodo.com/forum/viewonline.php ... =d&start=0

Any idea's on what's going wrong?

I tried this suggestion found within this topic to viewonline.php but it did not fix the problem

Code: Select all

meta_refresh(60, append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}viewonline.$phpEx", "sg=$show_guests&sk=$sort_key&sd=$sort_dir&start=$start"), true);

roBBx wrote:Hi to all! I've got a problem with the IE fix: soon after a user has replied to a topic or has edited a post within a topic, he doesn't appear reading that topic, but on index, even after page refresh. When posting a new topic it's OK. That with both 3.0.2 and previous 3.0.1 phpBB versions.
Does this fix run correct only on 3.0.0?

Thanks ;)
I tried to reinstall the mod on phpBB 3.0.6 and there is the same problem caused by the IE fix. The cause is that, after applying the fix, the url pointing the post doesn't include the forum and the topic number.

Before IE-fix: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2406&p=28032#p28032
After IE-fix: viewtopic.php?p=28032#p28032

The first link works perfect with IE, so I think that the mod code should format it in that way if it is possible.

You forgot one place to apply that fix.

You should also replace this code in viewonline.php:

Code: Select all

meta_refresh(60, append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}viewonline.$phpEx", "sg=$show_guests&sk=$sort_key&sd=$sort_dir&start=$start"));
With

Code: Select all

meta_refresh(60, append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}viewonline.$phpEx", "sg=$show_guests&sk=$sort_key&sd=$sort_dir&start=$start"), true);
I just want to make sure i got everything correctly. If i made the change for meta_refresh in functions.php, ucp_profile.php and finally viewonline.php i don't need to make any other changes and instant redirect would work perfectly...

OHHHHHHHHHH is that why my viewonline is not working??

EDIT: IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU NEOFCP! It's been driving me nuts, trying to figure out what was causing this. I thought it was something the developer we hired messed up. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh yes.
