Hi,
I download your mod & install it without any problems. (RC7)
I see in the index my global announce & in the forums.
I found in the acp the switch 'Display global annoucements on the Index page' & 'Display global annoucements on Topic pages'. The first switch change the view of the index global announce & it works well. The second one doesn't seems to change anything. Where can I see the changes I feel like in the previous global announce view.
Now it's 2 wishes.
Can you put group permissions to see this global announce reserved to a specific group.
Can you add also a lang permission as this global announce is only for this group?

Thanks for this nice mod I register my forum on your site. :D

im sure it does dani, but with all mods they are only built to support the base phpBB styles

unclevibes interesting thought, but woul a global annoucment not be aimed at all? I can see where you are coming from tho

I just thought that from your actual dev you may go further on the tuning of this global announce to make it global announce to specifics groups. See my profile to get links to my site where the mod is installed.

I'm getting some ghost posts as well

they say they are "by Guest on Wed Dec 31, 1969 8:00 pm"

Obviously wrong....

seems to happen only when you view the forums that have subforums.

any ideas?

Edit:
It is happening due to the change in "viewforum.php"

you can change the settings manually, they should be the last two entries in the phpbb_config table...
