Two problems, need solution. One is related to mod and other is related to general membersearch with first char.

My forum member's name is almost in unicode utf-8.

With this mod if i search with first char then for pagination situation I get wrong result in other pages except first page . When I clicked the page 2 then it shows wrong search found.

Not related to mod but similiar:
If I search with first char as char list in english given but with unicode I get right result and it shows the first page currectly but for pagination situation If I click any other page it shows there is no search.... that means It failed to navigate 2nd page or other page.

The problem is related to unicode char .
In all cases the first page is ok. but usnig mod all pages except first page shows wrong result and list
and for deafult search with first char first page is ok but no result when I click 2nd page. :roll:

Thanks Primehalo.Your tips works. Your all mods are usefull and always you give quick feedback..That's great.
Can you please help me how or where to edit to solve the same problem if I used the built in search with first char that I discussed in my last post. To clearfy:
There's a list like ( A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z) to search member with first char. But same pagination problem for unicode first char search :(

Another problem after the edit with your tips.
If you search first by char 'A' with your mod then you can not search with any new char from the list. That means it finds the previous result.

Like first I search with B with your mod. then I want to search with with A by defult list..results show the lasts for B.
If I mouse hover to A I am getting link:

Okay, I got this fixed. Undo the previous change, and then do the two new changes found in the new installation instructions (don't have time to copy/paste/format them for display here in this post).

And sorry, but I don't have the time right now to work on your other issue.

i don't know if there's a reason why you didn't do so yourself, but i would suggest to change the memberlist.php sql line to

			$sql_where .= " AND u.username_clean " . $db->sql_like_expression($db->any_char . utf8_clean_string($username_filter) . $db->any_char) . ' ';
in order to search within usernames and not only at the beginning of them ;)

P.S: thanks a lot for this very useful mod! :) "Prime mods" is my favourite collection eheheh! Keep it up! ;)

How can I apply this MOD to memberlist in UCP? Work with thousands of users in group management is a pain, I hope this MOD can solve that issue.

Awesome Mod. I have had no problems with it.. For your next version i hope you can have a file in it to tell u we're up to date on it .. more less let it work with check for mod updates modification.

Yes, where leaders manage their groups. I want this MOD because search through one hundred pages looking for an user to remove is a real pain.

just installed this "Prime Memberlist Filter' Version 1.0.4a" latest as i can see from your site :)

The find

Does not show up in memberlist.php > But got this instead.

unset($search_params, $sort_params);
Added and code before that instead. Worked fine. but when i search for a user that is not there, the last row doesnt look like the others. it turns blue. This also happens in normal phpbb3.0.4 as i know (when u use the a,b,c,d, etc search each letter function. But when using that there is usually someone to show. Search text field like this are more likely to produce a result with no users. dont thing there is much to do but i cross what ever i got.
