I am using style: mg_autumn

I tried to install this and I didn't get a button or box or anything...

I changed all the files, copied the image file to the style I am using, copied the style file (php if i remember correctly) and also the quick reply file..

any suggestions?

FAQ POST - READ THIS BEFORE ASKING ANY QUESTIONS


NOTHING HAPPENS...

1. Make sure you made the style edits. They are in the templates/ folder. Follow the instructions of prosilver.xml / subsilver2.xml
2. Make sure you refreshed templates, imagesets and themes in the acp. Go to the admin control panel -> styles. Select Templates on the left and hit "refresh" next to your style. Repeat for imagesets and templates.
3. Make sure you uploaded all your files.
4. Using the latest version?

Yes, I did all that.
I also refreshed my imagesets, template and theme.

I guess I will re-upload all files and make sure it just isn't a glitch where they didn't overwrite in my FTP or something....

OK, it looks like something must not have overwritten properly.
So I am sorry for that question.

However....now my Admin panel has "ACP_CAT_GENERAL" for the general tab.... instead of just "General" and it is that way for just about everything in the admin panel.

and there are { } those around everything in the admin panel that is a descriptive term, not a location


my Quick reply box also has those around it : { QUICK_REPLY }

Any suggestions on how to fix that all?

I went to remind inactive users to finish registration, and now while trying to I realized, I can only delete inactive users. I cannot activate, or remind them.

I think last night was my night to be extra oblivious.




However. I installed this mod on another forum today...... and did everything right this time that I could tell LOL and am having issues as well.

I tried installing this on eMuza style.

I installed all files in forum & theme
edited all files in forum & theme
refreshed images, theme and templates
(and double checked all files that were edited and the locations of the files)

when i went to a topic to see if it worked (cleared my PC's cache as well)... not only was there no quick reply... there was no regular reply button anymore either.

any suggestions?

I have a similar problem but only the Quick Reply text and button showing at the same time. No problem with the Post Reply.

Hi, i install this MOD. At Prosilver and SubSilver2 works all OK. But i have installed style AcidTech. At AcidTech dont works. (i use install for Subsilver and buttons from web odf autor AcidTech).

Can you help me please how i can install thid MOD for AcidTech style?

but on IE it says Error on page at Status bar..

There's no official fix but several people have posted solutions that at least make it go away, not sure if it actually fixes the problem.
