Christ! This is so unbelievably frustrating. The instructions aren't clear enough... Find </div>? Does he realize that there are MANY </div>'s in viewtopic_body.html?! And the main install.xml file doesn't even mention all the other editing and stuff you need to do just to make the quick reply even show up.

This quick reply certainly is evil...

Request No.2: I need to remove automatically parsing url's in evil quick reply..

How to do this ^^?

thanks
what about this, no more support from the author? :?

Hi. The image doesn't show up, only the text {Quick Reply}
Does anyone know what I did wrong?

http://windows7center.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9

I've already refreshed everything and am using the latest version.
Another thing I noticed is that after I press refresh, the files which I edited all seem to decrease in file size, possibly reverting back to their originals =S

I also tried not refreshing but it doesn't do anything either

This mod doesn't apply any database changes.

I'm having a problem with IE7.

It's probably been discused here before, and I normally would have read the whole discussion, but 105 pages seems a little too much, so I'll ask again... ;)

The quick reply is ON by default in IE7 (probably IE7's fault), and it also steals the focus after page is loaded. In all the other browsers I tested, this doesn't happen and quick reply is working fine.

My question is, is there any fix for IE7 to make quick reply be hidden by default?

Thanks in advance! :D

I also Can't install the mod on subsilver 2, my theme is a copy of subsilver2, and the imageset and the template is subsilver2 and I get a error like

Code: Select all

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/radiohot/public_html/cache/tpl_subsilver2_viewtopic_body.html.php on line 251
and I restored the database and I still get that error
