This may sound like a sill question but is this mod really needed? The assumption of this mod. is that google does not index non .html url post fixes correct? There are plenty of examples of "other" post fixes doing well.

Maybe I am misunderstanding this- if so can someone help me?

Hi. Thank you very much for this excellent module. It works fine in my forums but;

in mcp.php, post details page, when i click on "go to last visited topic (or something similar which can you see at the top of the page) i got this

Code: Select all

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'phpbb_topics t WHERE t.topic_id = p.topic_id AND t.topic_id = 714' at line 3 [1064]

SQL

SELECT t.topic_title FROM phpbb_posts p phpbb_topics t WHERE t.topic_id = p.topic_id AND t.topic_id = 714

BACKTRACE

FILE: includes/db/mysql.php
LINE: 158
CALL: dbal->sql_error()

FILE: includes/functions_seo.php
LINE: 164
CALL: dbal_mysql->sql_query()

FILE: viewtopic.php
LINE: 95
CALL: moved_topic()
link is:
http://www.turkce.why-islam.net/viewtop ... p=714#p714 (think that, this is not an advertisement)

And the samething when you report a post, returning to topic or when you agree a post to be published, returning the post.

Is this problem about me and my install or the module?

(because i found same thing in viewtopic.php, find side and replaced only the one wich appear first when installing)

you need a comma in between phpbb_posts p and phpbb_topics t

Code: Select all

SELECT t.topic_title FROM phpbb_posts p phpbb_topics t WHERE t.topic_id = p.topic_id AND t.topic_id = 714
it should look like this

Code: Select all

SELECT t.topic_title FROM phpbb_posts p, phpbb_topics t WHERE t.topic_id = p.topic_id AND t.topic_id = 714

Yes there are bugs and errors but they are all now fixed so far as I am aware, THAT IS, so long as you implement the list of bug fixes which appears at http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p5716395

Unfortunately, the original author seems to have lost interest, therefore the original files will never be updated so far as I can see.

and that means:

Go to includes/functions_seo.php

find

Code: Select all

		{
			$sql = 'SELECT t.topic_title
				FROM ' . POSTS_TABLE . ' p
					' . TOPICS_TABLE . " t
				WHERE t.topic_id = p.topic_id
					AND t.topic_id = $id";
			$newid = "p$id";
		}
in lines find(158)

Code: Select all

				FROM ' . POSTS_TABLE . ' p
in line, replace with

Code: Select all

				FROM ' . POSTS_TABLE . ' p,

After i update a topic, it redirects me to " http://turkce.why-islam.net/-p523.html#p523 " which is a non-working url. Any fixes with this?

nice mod, but still some bugs...
in includes/functions_seo.php
find:

Code: Select all

	'.' . $phpEx;
replace with:

Code: Select all

	$append = '.html';
otherwise pagination is wrong when browsing a forum and clicking a page :)
my sig
my projects

images deleted because of the 6kb (wtf?) rule...

Do not start up rumors.
Only reason I'm not providing support in here is because
  1. Every issue has already been addressed in this topic and I don't have time to keep answering the same questions over and over.
  2. I'm extremely busy currently and what time I do have available is spent on updating MODs and performing my duties as a MOD Team Member.
  3. If you've taken the 2 seconds to look at my signature, you will notice that stuff is slowly being updated.
  4. I still need this for myself and I have already laid out plans for the next version (a rewrite so you only have add 2 lines of code)

Bump:
XToF.be wrote:When I post a reply and I want to view my post, the MOD redirects me to the first page of the topic instead of my reply. I didn't find something about this issue in this topic so far.

Edit:
I'm having the exact same issue as described by flycker some posts above:

Here and
here and
here .
So from the moment that there are more than one page of reply posts, I'm redirected to the first page when replying.

It takes me to the URL:
http://myboard.com/topic-title-t464.html#p1822,
where it should take me to:
http://myboard.com/topic-title-t464s40.html#p1822

Does anyone have an idea? Or can anyone give me some hints?
