Oh ya, and thanks to the author of the mod. That must have been a hard one to write! It was a particularly long mod.

Problem: The users' SID is showing up in the URL for unauthenticated users (I think only after they log out, though I haven't figured out if there are other situations yet). For example, a url looks like this:

http://www.site.com/?sid=33b3fec9d103a0 ... 372252c5af

This is a security risk. Is there a way to suppress this, or have I made an error somewhere while installing the mod?

Is there a way that I can strip out anything besides letters and numbers? As in, not having an exclamation mark, question mark, period, etc, in the URL?

Thanks.

Hi ppl.... My host supports mod_rewrite, but i do not have a .htaccess file in my forum folder because it gives a "Internal Server Error" message when a place it there and try to load the index page. Does anyone know why this is ?

The answer is to find the clean_url() function - see http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p4863705

Hi

I got it working almost find with 3.0.2. Problem is with the Polls. Tt takes you to PAGE NOT FOUND

example:
http://www.limo-forums.com/static-logo- ... --t18.html

When a new user votes it gets this message
-----------------------
Not Found

The requested URL /-t18.html-st=0&sk=t&sd=a was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
------------------------------
When I press "VIEW results" it shows me this:

The requested URL /-t18.html-st=0&sk=t&sd=a&view=viewpoll was not found on this server.

Is there a fix...and where??

alexisfr wrote:Hi there,

I am having a different pagination issue from the one already fixed in this thread. The latest page number in view_topic does not point to the last page of the thread. It actually points to the next page relatively to the highest page number displayed .

Ex. if the following links are displayed: Page 9 of 28 • 1 ... 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 ... 28
clicking on 28 would point me to the page 13.

Anyone with the same issue?

Guys,

I found an error in the functions_seo.php file that was generating this issue.
At line 232:

Code: Select all

$page_string .= ($on_page == $total_pages) ? '<strong>' . $total_pages . '</strong>' : '<a href="' . append_seo_sid($base_url . 's' . (($i - 1) * $per_page) . $append) . '">' . $total_pages . '</a>';
should be replaced by

Code: Select all

$page_string .= ($on_page == $total_pages) ? '<strong>' . $total_pages . '</strong>' : '<a href="' . append_seo_sid($base_url . 's' . (($total_pages - 1) * $per_page) . $append) . '">' . $total_pages . '</a>';
GREAT!!!! FInally it works... Thank you.

I have a problem with the SEO MOD.
When a topic has more then 1 page there are little numbers on a forum.
Like this:

Image

But when I'm in a forum I can't go to page 1, 2 or 3!
It does work when I just click the topic title and then go to the next page, but it doesn't work in a forum.

When I click such a number I get this error:

Code: Select all

Not Found
The requested document was not found on this server.

Web Server at genietvandelente.nl
What is wrong? Can someone please help me? :)

after several hours modding this great mod... it still not works as it should...
I tried all answers found at this topic.

1) e-mail notification, address:
http://www.offroadforum.cz/viewtopic.ph ... 0&e=324660
when clicked it shows only
http://www.offroadforum.cz/castecna-nef ... 17438.html
it should show the 2nd page, but it shows first page

2) "go to page" (on my forum "Prejit na stranku") don't work, I tried to install as hint in this topic, but I use subsilver2 and it is not working now...

3) "subscribe to topic" is NOT working! :(

That's all. Thank Handyman to this great mod.

Don't know how to fix it.
But we only need to change somewhere .php to .html
