It doesn't work. The URL still changed whenever you clicked a link.

It works, but not for Russian forums, cause it dont transliterate russian simbols. Will be great to attach transliter to it.

I've read each & every post with a fine tooth comb (and thanks so much for all the invaluable info :)

I've had no problem with 404 error messages after appending the .htaccess file and functions.php.

This is where my problem occurs. In /includes/functions_display.php, at install steps:
Code: Select All
$u_viewforum = append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}viewforum.$phpEx", 'f=' . $row['forum_id']);
Replace With
Tip: Replace the preceding line(s) to find with the following lines.

Code: Select All
$u_viewforum = format_url($row['forum_name'], 'f' . $row['forum_id']);
- First of all there are 2 instances to replace this with. Do both lines need to be replaced?

- After I do this step (trying to replace just the first instance, both instances, and just the 2nd instance) I get page cannot be found messages when it's trying to convert the topics into .html

My eyes are fried .... what could be causing this? A root problem?

My forums are: http://styleforfree.com/styletalk

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Bawls wrote:Hey all,
I finished up installing this mod. It's working great, however I have one issue. When a topic notification email is received, the link to the topic reply (i.e.: http://specv.net/forum/11may08-updates- ... 1823#p1823) runs into a 404.

Any ideas?

I have installed this mod on my 3.0.1. Now I can login as common member but not as admin that requires second login. I get the following error:

"Sorry but the board is temporarily unavailable. Please try again in a few minutes".

If at all I succeed in logging in as admin after several attempts, I get the same error on logout.

Please help.
