Here is fix for this problem. I'm not sure whether this is a permanent solution, but the broken topic and forum URLs can be fixed this way.

File: viewtopic.php

Search for:

Code: Select all

'U_VIEW_TOPIC' 			=> format_url($topic_title, "t$topic_id"),
Replace with:

Code: Select all

//'U_VIEW_TOPIC' 			=> format_url($topic_title, "t$topic_id"),
File: viewframe.php

Search for:

Code: Select all

'U_VIEW_FORUM'		=> format_url($forum_name, "f$forum_id", $start, $u_sort_param),
Replace with:

Code: Select all

//'U_VIEW_FORUM'		=> format_url($forum_name, "f$forum_id", $start, $u_sort_param),
Please clear the cache and refresh the template.

I don't know if I've already posted this.

Will this ruin any links to threads that already exist?

EXAMPLE: I have a link to a topic before I install this mod. Will it still work after I install this mod?

Thanks. I just installed the mod, and the URLs seem to be working however whenever I try to reply to a topic I get a white page. I double checked the code and I did insert it properly. I cleared cache as requested.

php v3.04

Thanks in advance!

EDIT:

I have the following mods installed:

Evil Quick Reply
Auto Image resizer
Top Five
Welcome PM on first login
Ajax chat

Is this mod really working. I was using it on 3.02, but in 3.04 version it didn't work as before...
