This sounds like a fantastic mod!

I have one question though, is it possible to set a background image in the posting template box that does not actually post when the person submits the post? For instance a company logo watermarked that can be faintly seen in the part where they're typing that doesn't actually get posted when their post posts?

Can't wait to see if this mod can be made to this mod - It would be Heavenly!
Thanks so much!
Jeanne

I will post there though I thought we were supposed to post within the mod's post which is why I posted it here. I'm sorry if I didn't follow the flow properly.

Gotta ask some newbie questions:
In the instructions it says SQL "ALTER TABLE phpbb_forums ADD forum_post_tpl TEXT DEFAULT '' NULL;" Where do I put that? Or do I run it phpMyAdmin?
Then, where's the best place to edit all the other files? Get them trough FTP?

Thank you, I'm still new to all of this.

Hm, I followed the instructions precisely. I couldn't see anything in my forum, so I went to the ACP and then to Forums. There I got an error message about "header already loaded" or something like that.
Then I reversed all the changes and everything worked.
What could that be?

Disable "BOM" in your text editor, open up language/en/common.php and save it again.

BOM is a Byte Order Mark, used by unicode encodings such as UTF-8. It's some bytes added at the beginning of the file which text editors use to distinguish the encoding and to know the byte order. UTF-8 does not require it because it uses multibyte characters. When PHP includes the language file which has a BOM (added from your text editor) it thinks the bytes at the beginning of the file are characters, and as they are outside of the <?php block, it outputs them. That results in the HTTP headers being sent to the browser, which means phpBB is unable to send it's own. Which results in the error you are getting.

Short version: disable the "Unicode BOM" setting in your text editor to fix the error :)

I understand it, but I couldn't find any Unicode BOM in Notepad. Or do I need to use something else? Sorry for all the questions.
