Any help with the layout? I added Game FAQ to the end of the default topics and they are all in the right column. Why are they not lining up evenly on both sides? Strange.

Maybe this MOD is only useful for rewording the default FAQ? :?

It appears that the template used for the FAQ was designed for about 8 rows. I just noticed this now.

In styles/(style)/template/faq_body.html is:

Code: Select all

<!-- IF faq_block.S_ROW_COUNT == 4 -->
I submitted a change suggestion for it here: http://www.phpbb.com/bugs/phpbb3/ticket ... t_id=31405

If you know how to use diffs, I submitted a diff with it as well which will fix the problem you have. :)

Thanks for the quick response! I don't know how to use diffs...I'll be waiting for a fix from phpbb though...hopefully soon. :D

Great MOD nonetheless.

I think the Rules Page mod you are talking about was originally based off of this mod. But, since the development of that mod, the manager piece has been updated here. Combining the two makes sense. I did that on my gaming site.

Did you get any word back from the dev team? Or have you incorporated this into your MOD?

Thanks

No I have not.

This mod will never ever do anything that requires any edits to install.

Install the Rules mod and then install this mod. When it comes to the ACP, don't setup the modules for the Rules Mod. Then, just use this mod to manage the rules, faq and bbhelp pages.

What modules are you referring to? :?
My mods in MODDB:
Add Homepage link in header - Change user activity post limit - Post number in viewtopic
If you need support click on the support tab there and post your question.
Do not PM me - chances of viewing my PMs are way thinner than viewing the support question in the customization DB...

The ACP modules for would be added so that you can edit the files. I have the rules mod and the FAQ mod installed. I use the FAQ mod as the edit for the faq, bbcode and rules "help" pages. The rules mod was written on top of an older version of the FAQ manager. Then, FAQ was updated and the rules mod FAQ part has not (at the time I last checked).

Yes, I've done the same thing..
Installed rules mod and edit the rules via faq manager. My questions was there because in the rules mod installation there are no modules to install.
See where I got confused? :)

Does this mod also allow us to add new sections / categories and new entries to the faq, or does it just edit the existing faq entries?
