Thanks for mod! Installed it successfully! :D

Does anyone have the German and Polish translations for these? Also, specifically the soft_delete.php and info_mcp_soft_delete.php translations?

One question regarding SubSilver...

What code changes do I need to make so that soft deleted posts show up in a different background colour in viewtopic.php? I like how the background is different in the MCP panel of a soft deleted post. Sorry, I haven't trawled through this rather large topic looking for the solution. :(

NEVERMIND: Found the solution!

Hello I want to add this on my own style... Could I do that without changing anything with templates ?

ritty wrote:Hello, thanks for the mod. One problem I encountered is that the user statistics are not updating when directly hard deleting a post. To fix, modify the update_user_stats method to update counters for the $hard_delete property iff the post has not already been soft deleted. Something like:

Code: Select all

		if (sizeof($this->hard_delete['p']))
		{
			foreach ($this->hard_delete['p'] as $id)
			{
				if ($this->post_data[$id]['post_deleted'] == 0)
				{
					if (!isset($posters_update[$poster_id]))
					{
						$posters_update[$poster_id] = -1;
					}
					else
					{
						$posters_update[$poster_id]--;
					}
				}
			}
		}
Thanks, the issue should be fixed in the upcoming version.

Hi thanks for this mod,

i think to report on situation : when there was a report open, and you soft and hard delete this post, the topic (in the topic list) continue to appear red, so the phpbb3_topics > topic_reported seems not to be update (1 = topic reported, instead of 0)

thanks

Hi,

cant found a solution in this topic, but if my search was not performed correctly, please point me to the correct posts.

if i delete a post, i have an option to hard delete this post instead soft delete:
This has the link: .../posting.php?mode=delete&
This has the link: .../posting.php?mode=delete&
Screenshot_224.jpg (18.34 KiB) Viewed 543 times

but if i delete a topic, i dont have this option - so the topic every time in trash:
This has the link: .../mcp.php?f=36&t=222&start=0&quickmod=1&redirect=
This has the link: .../mcp.php?f=36&t=222&start=0&quickmod=1&redirect=
Screenshot_223.jpg (12.3 KiB) Viewed 543 times
What i have to do to add the hard delete option in topic delete?

Regards

hi pallino...

your style based on subsilver2, try the Additional MODX File

"en template: subsilver2 " or direct from folder, open "subsilver2.xml"

good luck

one of my moderators cheated with us and soft deleted more then 3000 posts in a section. now we want all the posts back, but 3000 posts one by one will take 5-6 days for us. kindly give some solution to get all the data back. i have this mod installed.

Something like this, but bear in mind that I don't know what I'm doing... :?

SQL:

Code: Select all

UPDATE phpbb_posts
SET post_deleted=0
WHERE post_deleted=1
I know I'm missing semicolons and quotes. Sorry. :oops:

That query will probably cause a lot of issues. There are other areas that are affected.

Stuff like this is what you should have daily database backups for.

I beg pardon. I did offer the caveat, at least. :oops:
