Hi,
just a quick question; maybe it has been asked but I didn't find it.
If a topic is soft deleted, can users still send answers to it or it's like it is locked?

Thank you

If the topic is soft deleted, the normal users will not be able to see it. It is still probably possible to reply to it even if you can't see it, I never put in a check for that I believe.

In most cases you would not delete the whole topic and then want to undelete it.
Typical use is going to be a few post within a topic or a new topic.

I would suggest a holding forum that is private if you have a long topic or any topic that is in question. It's much easier to move it there until later if you wish to move it back.
A deleted topic or a topic hidden in a private forum has the same result. Members can no longer see it.

but according to that
if a moderator made a wrong and deleted a topic then he must return 4 example 300 post
i think we can add the option and who wants to use it,do and who didnt want ,leave

Under what circumstance is a topic going to reach 300 post and then all of a sudden have to be deleted?
Maybe a few select post within that topic to clean it up.

This has been brought up before about having to undelete a topic one post at a time.
I believe it was before it was released to the MOD DB. It might have been in this topic.

I'll leave my view as such. It's not my MOD, it's for EXreaction to decide if it's something he wants to add.
I personally do not see the need in such an addon.

As long as 1 post is not deleted it should show the whole topic.

i dont mean that
i mean if an admin deketed a topic of 500 posts
and then he wanted to return the whole topic with all replies
there is no option to undelete the whole topic
only u can undelete each post indiviually which may take a lot of time in case of many posts
can u add this option in the jumbo box or any place to undelete the whole topic?
thanks 4 reply

No, I will not. If somebody deletes a reply and wants to undelete it they will have to do it one at a time.
