Mod installed OK. seems to be working but should it delete files from the files folder when I use the delete facility. It deletes the entry in the database but not in the files folder.

Are you sure? It has to delete files in the files folder as well as corresponding entry in the database since the MOD uses stock phpBB3 delete_attachments function.

Thanks for your reply. I have just tried again with a single deletion and it works fine. Before I was trying to delete up to 20 files at a time but I can't see how that would effect it! I now have 9 more files in the files folder than on the database so I shall identify the 9 and delete them from the files folder manually then all should be well. When next I need to delete some files to reduce the folder size I will try just 5 at a time and see what happens.
Many thanks for your help.

Are you sure you've edited the right common.php file? You had to edit the language one(language/en/acp/common.php), not common.php that is in the board's root folder.

Hi,

please give us a link to a .txt or .zip version of your current language/en/acp/common.php.

Hi,

I'm pretty sure you altered the wrong file.

You had to alter language/dk/admin/common.php but you altered language/dk/common.php

Hope you still have your original version of language/dk/admin/common.php. If not, take it from the download package and alter it accordingly to the MODs you installed.

IPB_Refugee is right. You've edited wrong file again. As I said before, the file has to be (as per installation instruction)
rxu wrote:language/en/acp/common.php
Note the /acp subfolder. You could just undo changes in your language root common.php and apply edits to /acp/common.php.

I have the feeling that he somehow copied language/dk/common.php to language/dk/acp/common.php so he may have edited the wrong file but copied it to the correct location. So I hope he has a backup of the original language/dk/acp/common.php

hi, just stumbled upon your MOD after submitting a request for this one:
http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=1324625

i think what youre doing is a great step towards the functionality i described there.
hopefully this comes as an inspiration for future enhancements to your mod.

cheers
