"Quick post" is not enabled by default. You can control it with the "Quick reply" ACP module.

Yes. Use installation instruction for prosilver to install the MOD on prosilver-based styles and installation instruction for subsilver2 (/templates/subsilver2.xml in the MOD package) to install it on subsilver2-based ones.

Did you enable "Display quick topic post panel at forum view" feature in UCP (Board preferences / Edit display options)?

Can you help me installing this mode on "CA gen 2" style, please?

I just can't find the way to follow the MOD instructions wen modifying "viewtopic_body.html"

I just noticed that the cursor jumps the page down to quick reply.

I've just installed this mod with no issues other than this one above from page 1 of the thread, can you tell me if this above is still required to be done to fix the issue of the page going straight to quick reply at the bottom when you click on a thread?

I decided to give this one more shot... and of course I guess I messed something up.

Thhere's nothing to do with template.php, such errors are usually related to mistakes commited in viewtopic_body.html edits. Please, recheck it.
