rxu really helped me, module was succesfully installed.

Still, when I now open topics I get some errors. For example:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /usr/home/*******/domains/nederhoppers.nl/public_html/forum/cache/tpl_prosilver_viewtopic_body.html.php on line 169

I checked, but I believe all my edits are as stated in the manual. Solution?

If edits are ok, perhaps it's worth to try to purge the cache/refresh template.

Sure ;)

Code: Select all

'UPDATE phpbb_users SET user_options = user_options + 2048'
This turned off quick reply.

I want the Query which will automatically change the setting to ON in every registered user Settings so they can automatically view the quick reply box at the bottom without having to turn it on manually

I am having a problem with this mod.

It installed perfectly, but for some reason, it is showing up 5 times on the bottom of my page.

There are literally 5 quick reply boxes there.

Any ideas why?

I had the MOD working perfectly on my original theme, but when I went to change the theme (still a prosilver-based theme) the quick topic box will show, but no quick reply box.

?

Please, recheck edits of viewtopic_body.html.

Did you edit template files of the custom style in the same way you did for prosilver's template?

I did, yes. What's odd is that the Quick Topic box will show (if I allow it in ACP), but the Quick Reply will not.

Please, feel free to try to install it with the AutoMOD. It's not compatible officially because this QR MOD was released a long before AutoMOD was ;)

Still having issues since changing my theme...

Installed Quick Reply on the new theme, module says it was installed successfully. I have the ACP_QUICK_REPLY options in ACP now (same as I did the old theme), but the Quick Reply box won't show. The Quick Topic seems to work fine, but that's not what I'm after.

I've gone through the code repeatedly to make sure I didn't miss something. What else can I do?

How long it takes to process install.php!? I run it like a 10 minutes ago and still waiting for the result? I have nearly 150k users could it be the problem?

Thanks in advance,
Teo
