That link has this code inside it:

Code: Select all

onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;"
That code did not come from my MOD, as I don't use the window.open() function.

ah ok. I figured out what I did that caused this. I did this edit to make links open in new windows:
Knowledge Base - Links Opening New Windows
I undid all the edits and now it works but. In all the links there's this at the end of the url's:

Code: Select all

" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
is there any way I can get all of these removed without editing each post that has a link?

Hi Nano,

after completely uninstalling the MOD from the Knowledgebase and uploading the changed files, you could try this script which re-parses all BBCodes:

hm. This changed all the links back to normal but instead of the " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
being part of the link it's just showing up as text which means I still have to go edit the posts :\

Can you please give us a link to a topic where we can see the problem?

I would try this in your case:

1. Make a backup of your database.
2. Go to your phpMyAdmin or a similar tool and run this SQL order (when your table prefix is phpbb_ which is the standard prefix):

--- code removed ---

Or, better, look how the text that appears as " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; in the source code of your viewtopic pages is stored in your database. Can you do this? You have to find post number 1312 with

Code: Select all

SELECT post_text FROM `phpbb_posts` WHERE post_id = '1312'
Please post the result (the text of post 1312 as it is saved in your database) here before you do step number 2.

Hi!

I have a problem with the prime links mod and this mod:

http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 0&t=561803

since the update from 1.0.6 to 1.2.0.

The images where resized with version 1.0.6, but with 1.2.0 the image resize function doesn't work anymore. I've changed this settings in the prime_links.php:

Code: Select all

define('EXTERNAL_LINK_PREFIX', 'http://anonym.to?');			// Example: 'http://anonym.to?'
define('FORCE_EXTERNAL_LINK', 'gif|jpg|jpeg|png|bmp');			// Example 1:  pdf|gif|jpg|jpeg|png|bmp|zip|rar|7z'
define('NO_EXTERNAL_LINK_PREFIX', 'gif|jpg|jpeg|png|bmp'); // Don't add an external link prefix for these file types
Are there any other changes in the prime_links.php file which i should make to get this to work again?

Thanks in advance for an reply.

I don't see anything that looks like it would conflict. Can you point me to an example of it not working? And maybe to an example where it does work (like on some others board?

No, you just copy over the new files.

First thanks for your reply. This is a thread with a big image which is resized by the mod above:

When i use the prime_links.php file from 1.0.6 without any edits this works, when i use the prime_links.php from 1.2.0 without any edits this won't work.

I have copied the code from that example, could you now show me how it works with the new version so I can see that source and understand what changes between the two?

Upon comparing the outputted source code, I would guess that the other MOD parses all images with a class name that exactly matches image-resize rather than a class name that just contains it. Try removing postlink from this option:

Code: Select all

    define('EXTERNAL_LINK_CLASS', 'postlink');
And comment out the class name for the image file type:

Code: Select all

    $link_type_classes = array(
        PDF_LINK_TYPES    => 'pdf_link',
        //IMG_LINK_TYPES    => 'img_link',
        ZIP_LINK_TYPES    => 'zip_link',
    );

If that works, then you may also want to contact the author of that MOD and see if it can't be modified to not break on multiple class names.
