Hi

This works for me but I only see the stars no text to let members know what the stars are for.
Any ideas?

Thanks

Would be cool if it could just show 0, 1, 2, 3 and so on.

Hello

I am using a template other than prosilver which does not have this file at all:
styles/prosilver/template/memberlist_view.html
or perhaps it is in another location.
Can I install your mod or not?
What exactly is the function of that particular file regarding your Mod?

Thanks in advance for your reply

As far as my knowledge is concern, you can install this MOD without that file.
That particular file is the Member List (Members) of phpBB. So if you skip that file, you just won't see stars in member list. But you can still see it in topics, profile, etc.

Bottom Line: Go Ahead! :mrgreen:

Thats what I thought also; just had to make sure. I will try it and see what happens, thanks :)

Just a question dear! Why don't you update your forum with the latest version? You are using quite old version.

I quite agree 8-)

and another thing

annual stars mod is pretty good for forums 1 or 2 years old ..... but forums of 2004 launch date and before, you will have six stars for some members, I am seeing five stars with one star on the next line and am thinking "let's have one star = 2 years" to solve the problem (but that is not a solution really) so forums that launched 2004 and before is a problem, still pondering :x

Hi all...
I set stars in memberlist and it's ok, butt i have problem with a viewtopic.php :S

Code: Select all

			// annual stars
			$user_cache[$poster_id]['reg_stars'] = '';
			if ($reg_years = (int) ((time() - (int) $row['user_regdate']) / 1261440))
			{
				$user_cache[$poster_id]['reg_stars'] = str_repeat($user->img('icon_annual_star', 'YEARS_OF_MEMBERSHIP'), $reg_years);
			}
Parse error: parse error in blabla\bla\bla\forum\viewtopic.php on line 1149
