No, because the mod is not clairvoyant. Consider this:

User A makes the 1000th post.
User B makes the 1001th post.
User C makes the 2000th post.
User D makes the 2001th post.

Now you the administrator may delete post nr. 5 because it has no value anymore (an old announcement for example).

Then Milestone Congratulations does its evil work and counts the posts that exist on your board, only now user B made the 1000th post and user D made the 2000th!

Ergo: Retroactively this cannot be determined; only through daily backups which you would have to go through and look up the respective posters manually (I did that for my board)!

Ok I see but maybe it is interesting to have it calculated once when starting to use the mod so that it is not the board founder who is mentioned in the three goals.

But I already like the mod as it is now ;)

Greetings,

Nic

When you're viewing the index page as an admin, what is displayed at the end of the congratulatory line (should be sth. like [ 25000 | 1000 ])?

OK, I've set it to congratulate at 24'700 and every 100 posts thereafter - for topics it's 1'100 and every 50 thereafter. Look at the Milestone Congratulations tab in your ACP and see how I've done that, it's not at all difficult to configure.

First off, you mod is amazing! I love it, and my members love it as well!

I am needing some beautification help though.. Is there anyway case 1 from functions_display_milestones.php

Can look like this:

Code: Select all

	case 1:
		// posts, topics, users
		$milestone_info = ' [ ' . $user->lang['MILESTONES'] . ': ' . $config['milestone_pgoal'] . ' | ' . $config['milestone_tgoal'] . ' | ' . $config['milestone_ugoal'] . ' ]';<br/>
		$milestone_message = sprintf($user->lang['MILESTONE_PTU'], $config['milestone_posts'], get_username_string('full', $config['milestone_pij[p d'], $config['milestone_puser'], $config['milestone_pcolour'])<br/>, $config['milestone_topics'], get_username_string('full', $config['milestone_tid'], $config['milestone_tuser'], $config['milestone_tcolour'])<br/>, $config['milestone_users'], get_username_string('full', $config['milestone_uid'], $config['milestone_uuser'], $config['milestone_ucolour']));
		break;
Did you notice what I done? I added <br/> into the coding so that it might look like this:
Milestones:
Post _____ has been made by _____ ,
Topic _____ Has been made by _____ ,
Register user _____ is _____.

{Milestones: ___ | ___ | ___ ]
{View History}

I know the above wouldn't look good for all users of this mod so I am not requesting it to be added.. I'm just asking for support.

If I do not edit Case 1 to make it how I want it, where do I edit?

Thanks,

Jason
