Installed everything correctly.
I can see the number of thanks and thanked in the user profile in the topic.
But cannot find Thanks button anywhere.
I went to the ACP->Forums->Category->Edit Forum, but I cannot find the option to enable or disable Thanks.
I cleared cache of browser, prosilver, refreshed imageset, theme etc etc
No use. Please help :cry: !!!

Yeah, when the user has thanked the hide is unhidden. But when they come back later on a topic where they already have thanked, the hide is NOT unhidden anymore. What's the problem??

A friend decided analyst for me.

The role of the MOD is running a routine based on post and not on the topic.

For this, he had to create a topic_id field on the THANKS table and modify the routine of thanks.php file to store the topic_id and replace the SELECT routine on the viewtopic.php for WHERE topic_id instead post_id.

Mahoney, can help the usenet2you now?

Sorry, my english is bad.

You have some errors in your XML file, under memberlist.php

Files to Edit
styles/prosilver/imageset/en/imageset.cfg,
styles/prosilver/template/viewtopic_body.html,
styles/prosilver/memberlist_view.html,
styles/prosilver/theme/buttons.css,
styles/prosilver/theme/colours.css

Must be;

styles/prosilver/template/memberlist_view.html

Memberlist.php

Find:

Code: Select all

// Start session management
$user->session_begin();
$auth->acl($user->data);
Add After:

Code: Select all

//Begin Thank Post MOD
$user->add_lang('mods/thanks');
//End Thank Post MOD
Should be:

Code: Select all

$user->add_lang('mods/thanks');

Hello

Copy: root/db_update.php
To: phpbb root and run this with your browser or try this

Code: Select all

CREATE TABLE `phpbb_thanks` (
  `thanks_id` mediumint(8) unsigned NOT NULL auto_increment,
  `thanks_from` mediumint(8) unsigned NOT NULL,
  `thanks_to` mediumint(8) unsigned NOT NULL,
  `post_id` mediumint(8) unsigned NOT NULL,
  PRIMARY KEY  (`thanks_id`)
);
ALTER TABLE `phpbb_posts` ADD `post_thanked` INT(11) UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT '0';
ALTER TABLE `phpbb_forums` ADD COLUMN `enable_thanks` TINYINT(1) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL;
ALTER TABLE `phpbb_users` ADD `user_thanked` INT(11) UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', ADD `user_thanks` INT(11) UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', ADD `user_thanks_post` INT(11) UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT '0';

After using the db_update.php, please delete it to avoid errors.

Best regards: Mahony
