What do you mean? does that require an edit that allows HTML on phpbb3, or is that part of what your MOD allows?

How about adding ( as a contrib add-on even ) a dropdown list of colors. but giving them 'user friendly' names instead of hex numbers. http://draac.com/colorchart.html

no no the js file is in the images folder with the MOD
