Can i have their names please?

Coming to spammer reduction, some sites need the users correction location compulsarily. So it may fix that problem as the users may give fake country name or location. 8-)

Seen some websites where they display our country, location, what browser we use like that. So by using that feature can we make it possible for auto addition of flag to the registration page. This also reduces spammer as some will keep fake country.
I'm not sure how you think that will stop Spam, it will just tie in their country of origin for the computer used @ registration, nothing else. A further problem with that, alot of people who go in for Spamming, use Proxy Servers to hide their real IP, so again that could cause conflicts to what your trying to accomplish. The issue you mentioned about how the websites display the information about your IP, Browser, etc... is 1 of 2 ways that I know of, Java Script or PHP. If it's ran via JavaScript (most are) then there is no way the website can control that information into registration, as Java is loaded on the Client Computer, not the Website Server.

Anything that is used to help prevent Spam is a good thing. However, as I've already mentioned, people can lie either by giving their false details in a form, or via using Proxies & other such utilities to hide their real IP/Location.

The best method in a forum that I know of, for Anti-Spam measures, is to limit what a user can access or do once they have first registered, as well as make as many of the parts of registration process User Interaction rather than auto-detected/filled-in.

Once a Spammer (or group of Spammers) knows of a website where they can spam with very little deterrent, they will overload that board ASAP.

I apologize, for at the moment, I do not have the latest and greatest posted yet. I will put the release candidate up as soon as possible.
Any news on when the latest RC version is available? The first post lists as 3.0.5 (3.0.6RC) with a last edit date of Fri Oct 23, 2009 2:36 pm. The MOD has been posted to the MOD database, is there a rough guide to how long before it will be approved/released, all going well, & no problems/errors with it?

It was auto-rejected because some of the code appears to be in windows format and mods are required to be in UNIX format. This is not a big problem, but could be an issue when searching for code to replace later.

oddfish and I are fixing it and re-submitting.

it is prosilver you use?

the required code does not show in your source output but yet it is in your template file.

EDIT** - please check all edits in viewtopic.php.

That is an automod error...nothing to do with the xml coding of this mod.

It's still in RC stage. For some mods it works very well for others not so much so.

FWIW, I edit my files using notepad++ and FTP on my live board.
