Yes another portal system in the works! It seems like other forum software have a 'primary' portal system or one that mostly all the admins would use out of the bunch but for phpBB3 there is like non...I hope this mod becomes one of those 'primary' portal systems. I am looking forward to this, I wish you the best of luck! :D

There is already a portal system validated by the MOD Team: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=1179085
Also, I don't think any more portals are really worthwile (There are already 8 of them).

Depends if you want a simple one like board3portal or phpbb Portal which are virtualy the same with very little admin control or a more sophisicated one like the smart portal or indeed the stargate portal

Screenshot looks good Andy

Do you know if you are going to have a demo up anytime soon and what will we need to do to get templates to work when Smart Portal is released?

We are getting closer but it is a big package so it takes time. Templates will be easy just a couple of files to change each time. A demo will soon be available to view
