You see, I quite agree with the current phpBB policy about not allowing HTML in user (and admin) defined fields and content. The BBCode system is flexible enough to give you the markup you need and you should be able to format the content as you deem necessary.

This is a security precaution that is worth it in my opinion, that's it. The MOD is licensed under GPL2, so everybody is free to fork it and have HTML allowed :)

Did you added any page from the ACP if yes.
access it using page id
http://gamehaxerz.com/page.php?id=x
x=your page id
where exactly you want it to be shown? the link.

This is a beta stage MOD, you can't seriously go install it unless you can solve minor issues by yourself.

Anyways, what russian letters?

Ah, that's just untranslated "The page cannot be found". With the first beta, the MOD didn't show a list of pages but allowed only direct access to them (I suppose people will go to pages you will directly link to). It's added at the moment, I'll fix up a few more things and release it.

I have a question for those who want url rewrites.

What should be the format of the URLs? Some of you might be using SEO rewrite MODs so i want something that does not conflict with other MODs.

At the moment I have a simple /foobar-p1/ working for page.php?id=1

I've installed this on my local test board running under xampp and have found a couple of problems.

Firstly, the board has two custom styles installed both of which are derived from subsilver2. I have created a "tabled" version of the page_body.html file for each. I have also modified the board so that links open in a new page/tab.

Problem 1: When viewing the board under the second style new pages generated by this MOD are shown with the default style. I haven't yet been able to make pages disply under the non-default style.

Problem 2: When using builtin BBCodes all seems fine but I also have several custom BBCodes installed (center, left, right, strikethrough) and when using any of these text is shrunk to about 75% of it's normal size. See pics below...

BBCodes in the forum.

Same BBCodes in a new page.

Problem 3: Not sure if this is because it's running on a local server, but any time I access the new page it seems I'm not longer logged in.

1) The page uses normal phpBB templates and headers, it should show the style the user has chosen in its UCP.

2) In prosilver, I put font-size: 1.25em to the div surrounding the content, the formatting is then same as in the posts.

3) The page should hold normal phpBB sessions, it probably is caused by not fully functional cookies and the SID not being included to substitute the cookies.

Unfortunately it doesn't. Maybe this is related to problem number 3 in that the session isn't carried over.

The font size is fine up until I apply one of the custom BBCodes. It's only then that the size changes.

Not sure how to go about testing this aside from installing the MOD on the live board. :|

ww6: Thanks :)

momentum: try adding that font-size, it should fix it up in whole.

everybody: a new version 0.1.2 is released - it fixes some things, deletes some additional queries etc. to update just re-upload the root folder from the mod package, no file edits or sql changes are necessary.

Hi,
I'm very interested in installing this MOD as it will benefit my forum. Will this implement a button beside like search, memberlist, ect?

A link to what? The list of pages?

The MOD does not do that but it you can add them yourself:
