Looks very interesting ;)
Would you consider views?
I think total views and forum views would be nice.

So, your basically talking about the view statistics Google Analytics provides, right?
Total Views = Total page views
Forum Views = ? (views for each forum?)

P.S: Package updated. One edit (constants.php) was missing.

Not total pageviews.
But forum views = all topic views summed together. Available to see forum views for all the forums.
And Total forum views = all forum views summed together.
Maybe also a page with the most viewed topics?

Now I know what you mean. :D

Yes, that should be possible. I'm probably integrating it into the next release. Thank you. ;)

Really? Why? I would like to see a list of the differences, so we can make an informed decision on which one to install :?

A few differences:
  • phpBB Statistics is XHTML 1.0 Strict valid for prosilver and XHTML 1.0 Transitional valid for subsilver2
  • phpBB Statistics provides a Control Panel in the ACP, from which you can disable or enable each block, disable the whole Statistics MOD, and define the Groups which are allowed to access the Statistics
  • phpBB Statistics MOD is able to pretend to have the newest version of phpBB3 installed
  • phpBB Version info and Database info can be hidden
  • Installed components can be sorted
  • Top XX Smileys, Top XX BBCodes, Warning Statistics, Smileys information (actually, Andy copied my source code and removed my copyright information :shock: )
I hope that helps you choose. ;)

I receive this error when using AutoMod

One or more install actions failed. Please review the actions below, make any adjustments and retry. You may continue with the installation even though some of the actions failed. This is not recommended and may cause your board to not function correctly.

In following your instructions, I come to:

First create this parent module
Click 'System' among the list of displayed modules.
Click 'Module Management' among the list of displayed modules.
Click the 'Create New Module' button and create a new module with the following attributes:
'Module language name' : STATS
'Module type' : Module
'Parent' : Module Management
'Module enabled' : Yes
'Choose module' : Module management [acp_modules]
'Choose module mode' : phpBB Statistics <-----------Is not an option for me :?:

Make sure you have the following edit:
Open: includes/acp/info/acp_modules.php
Find:

Code: Select all

				'mcp'		=> array('title' => 'MCP', 'auth' => 'acl_a_modules', 'cat' => array('ACP_MODULE_MANAGEMENT')),
Add after:

Code: Select all

// phpBB Statistics MOD
				'stats'		=> array('title' => 'STATS', 'auth' => 'acl_a_modules', 'cat' => array('ACP_MODULE_MANAGEMENT')),
After that purge your board cache and try again.
