Re: [BETA] phpBB Statistics v0.2.0

Post by Marc »

That's a weird php-bug. ;)
Just to know it, what php-Version are you using?

There you go:
Open statistics/includes/functions.php

Find:

Code: Select all

     function get_profile_field_data($profile_field, &$total_values_set, $limit_count = 0, &$total_groups = 0)
Replace with:

Code: Select all

    function get_profile_field_data($profile_field, &$total_values_set, &$total_groups, $limit_count = 0)
Open includes/stats/stats_settings.php

Find:

Code: Select all

    $field_data = get_profile_field_data($current_field, $total_values_set[$current_field['field_id']], $limit_count, $total_data_groups);
Replace with:

Code: Select all

    $field_data = get_profile_field_data($current_field, $total_values_set[$current_field['field_id']],  $total_data_groups, $limit_count);
Refresh your board cache after the edits.

P.S: Don't blame me, blame php. :)

Since this MOD uses a different way for using add-ons, the add-on instructions for the old Forum Statistics MOD do not work. Therefore, I am currently working on a FAQ that explains how to install add-ons and how to create them. I will try to get the "User Online Time" and "Genders" add-ons done as soon as possible.

You probably ask yourself why one would use the new add-ons solution provided in this MOD. Well, using the new add-on system, your add-ons will not be deleted by an update.

Does this MOD allow us to see how many people has entered the forum per day ?
Is it possible to see how many time some user has entered during the day, or during a week for example??
Can someone send some images from the advenced statistics menu and others so we can check the full functionalitys of the mod?

Best regards

@unknown2: No, the MOD currently does not do that. A visitor statistic will be added in one of the next versions, but it will not keep track of every user, since that would just spam your database and make it horribly slow.

You can watch the English Demo of the MOD here:
http://area51.m-a-styles.de/stats.php

Some statistics display "None" or 0 because this is just a testing forum.
If you want to see the statistics in all their beauty, just take a look at my forum's statistics:

As Black Pearl is based on subsilver2, it should also work with this MOD.

I just took a look at Black Pearl.
Do the following edits instead of those mentioned for subsilver2:

Open black_pearl/template/menu_block.html
Find:

Code: Select all

<a href="{U_FAQ}">{L_FAQ}</a>
After add:

Code: Select all

&nbsp;&nbsp;<img src="{T_THEME_PATH}/images/menu_sep.png" alt="" />&nbsp;<a href="{U_STATS}">{L_STATISTICS}</a>
Open black_pearl/theme/stylesheet.css
Find:

Code: Select all

.username-coloured {
	font-weight: bold;
}
After add:

Code: Select all

/* phpBB Statistics MOD */
table.fs_details_graphs div.graph {
	background-color: #67A3EB;
}

div.fs {
	font-size: 1.1em;
}
div.fs h3 {
	font-size: 0.9em;
}
div.fs fieldset {
	font-size: 1.0em;
}
div.fs thead {
	font-weight: bold;
}
div.fs td {
	vertical-align: top;
	padding: 0 4px 0 4px;
}
div.fs div.user_prompt {
	text-align: center;
}
table.fs_details_list, table.fs_details_graphs {
	width:100%;
	table-layout: fixed;
}
table.fs_details_list td.col1, table.fs_details_list td.col3 {
	width: 25%;
	text-align: right;
	vertical-align: top;
}
table.fs_details_list td.col2, table.fs_details_list td.col4 {
	width: 25%;
	padding-left: 5px;
	vertical-align: top;
}
table.fs_details_graphs col.col_cat {
	width: 50%;
}
table.fs_details_graphs col.col_bar {
	width: 30%;
}
table.fs_details_graphs col.col_count, table.fs_details_graphs col.col_pct {
	width: 10%;
	text-align: right;
}
td.table_list {
	margin-left: 50px;
}
/*END MOD*/
