Modification Name: Simple Profile Comments

Modification Description:: Simple profile comments mod allows members to post comments on other members profile pages.Administrators and Moderators will be able to delete comments from the user profiles. The owner of the profile will also be able to delete comments on there own page.
Modification Version:: 1.6.1-RC

Requirements: phpbb 3.0.5

feel free to leave comments and delete comments on the test users profile to see how it works

Notification in overall_header ( 1 new comment etc.. )

User Avatar's displayed
Pagination support
Enable/Disable from the ACP
Set number of comments per page in the ACP
Set avatar size from in the ACP
Enable/Disable quick commenting

- Allow only friends to comment on your profile
- Enable / disable email notification on new comment
Many small bug fixes
Now the installer installs the modules in the ACP

To upgrade i recommend uninstalling all the edits from 1.4.0 with automod and re-do them all.

Files not needed any more are :
root/comment.php
root/comment_remove.php
root/styles/prosilver(and subsilver2)/template/comment_body.html

I think it would be nerving being notified by email.
Could you code something like the "you have 1 new pn" at the overall_body?

In the overall_header there it will say ( 0 new comments ) or ( 1 new comments ) etc.. I already have that done. But if you get a new comments you will get a email also just like getting a new pm, unless you allow emails turned off in your ACP.

EDIT : kind of hard to read but it says "yes it will support bbocode" and smilies are supported also.

you can also see int he above picture that i have the delete and time ago feature done. I should have a beta ready for tomorrow night.

and after you submit the comment you can view it in the highslide

BETA is now up. I tested it on several boards and everything is working fine as far as i can tell, It will also install fine with Auto mod.

Ajax was in my mind when i first started the mod but there are to many security risks when using it. But if i find a way to do it securely i will for sure, it would be very cool to implement.

Just a little update on features i have done for the next version :

Turn Simple comment mod off from in the ACP
Turn the quick comment feature of from in the ACP
default Comments per page setting in the ACP
and Avatar size setting from in the ACP
