MOD Description: Allows an administrator to stop board e-mails from being sent to a user until they update their e-mail address.

You have some errors in your install xml.

includes/ucp/acp_users.php should be includes/acp/acp_users.php
includes/functionsprivmsgs.php should be includes/functions_privmsgs.php
root/language/en/prime_update_email.php should be root/language/en/mods/prime_update_email.php

Such a "Force-Enter-New-Email"-option like forced password-changes would be very great!

btw: I also requested this here a couple of months ago - but since there have been no developments so far, perhaps Primehalo could also implement this as an additional option?

I agree. That's the way a similar MOD for phpBB-2 worked. And it would be great if users with invalid email addresses (when board mails get bounced back) would automatically be forced to supply a valid mail address again.

I agree that it would be a nice option, but I don't think I'll be getting around to it anytime in the foreseeable future. Right now I have way to many other projects.

Stupid question ... Where do I set an email adress to be entered again? Or do I simply delete the current email adress in the users account?

In the Admin Control Panel, in the User Administration section, under the Basic Tools there's the option in the drop down box.

I was looking for such a Mod because I am having some bounced emails due to incorrect email address

You can use Primehalo's Mod in conjunction with Advanced Double Activation Pack Mod aka ADAP
ADAP Mod do prompt (in fact force) a user for a new valid Email address, but it deosnot prevent board from sending email meanwhile
So Primahalo's Mod come in handy

But I do have a question: How this Mod know a user has changed his email address into a new VALID one?
With ADAP Mod a confirmation link is sent to the new email address

As far as I know, a user has to confirm his new mail address via a link in a mail (similar to the mail you get when you register).

Regarding the "force user to update" option, please take a look at includes/prime_update_email.php:

Thank IPB_Refugee
After testing with a test account
the test user was able to login to the board even after "request email update"
I think the Mod deos only what is saying:

MOD Description: Allows an administrator to stop board e-mails from being sent to a user until they update their e-mail address.

It stops only sending board emails untill user updade his email address
until that, he can login to the board
