Checked and the edits look fine... I did them again to make sure and still made no difference

missed one of the edits in there... all is good in the virtual world again

I may have a problem. There is no update from ultimate_points_1.0.1 to ultimate_points_1.0.4. Does this mean I have to reinstall the full MOD?

Very simple. The Medal Mod uses the same field in the users table. So whatever you set in the Medal Mod, will use the same user point field. Therefore nothing to change. It just works.

So it seems your edits are not correct. Please double and tripple check them.

wow, what a mod. First off, I'm very new, like 2 days new. I read threw the first 5 and last 5 of the pages but not everything. I am building an MMA forum that I would like to have a betting option on. So they get their points via posting but then I will would like to setup a page where they can bet on the fights with their points. This mod seems to do just about everything but I haven't seeing betting as a feature. Is it in here, if not, can somebody recommend a mod that has it.

A Totalizator (Betting with Points)

This is a full point betting system. You can create events and allow members to bet on them with forum based points. It requires a point system hack and works with the user_points table.

Hello!

Before installing this comprehensive MOD I would like to ask:
Can I set negative value for some actions? For example:
create thread = -50 points
create post = 10 post

If yes, then what will happen if user has 30 points and want to create a new topic (-50 points). Could he see "New topic button" or he will get message "not enough points" after trying to post new thread?

Very simple to answer: Definitly NOT, as that mod is for phpBB2 (in words: two!!!). So don't use it!
