It's working now...

Initially, I was using the "hookup_gallery.php" file from the phpBBB Gallery Mod download. I replaced the file with the one from the UPM download.

Thanks for the assistance ;)

I want to give hosting service from my site so I setup this point system to let them earn points for buying hosting. My problem is there is only way to earn points but not spending. I want the points be decreased everyday automatically. Like if i am using hosting service; my x-point should decrease everyday. It may be 1 point per day or 5 point per day. If the point reaches to "0" then they are automatically informed. And it should go to negative point too.

I also want to make sure that nobody earns more than 40 points per month. They can post but points will not be given to users who have more than 40 points.

Does anybody know how to do that. It would be very helpful.

all this is quite easy to do but it takes time and sure it will be an addon

what is recommended, however:
wait for the next version because there will be some global structure changes, i guess

Hi, great mod, installed and running smooth on 3.0.5.

One issue though, i am having the same problem as This guy

When some members make edits, even if its just removing a period, they get deducted a obscene amount of points, anywhere between 50 and 1000 removed.
I have 4 members reporting this issue, all use firefox 3.5.3 two set to EN-GB, two to EN-US.

All they do to repeat the problem, is remove 2 or 3 letters from a post, or punctuation.

I have tried all kinds of combinations myself to repeat the problem, including changing character sets from western to UTF, but i cannot (also on firefox EN-GB)

After persevering with the help of the affected members, it seems to only happen in the one particular thread, as they cannot repeat the error anywhere else.

Let me know if there is anything i can try, or information you require that may help.
Thanks.

Where it's supposed to be: root/includes/constants.php ... It's the file where you add nearly every mod into it ;)

Please ask this in alighner's thread and specify, where and how you would like to implement the UPS within the calendar ...

Hi,

as I can't reproduce this error too, it's really hard to say where we need to look or what might be responsible. Sorry

Probably next week. We are currently working on all the stuff, which the MODDB team asked us to change. So it will be a bigger one

I was thinking of getting points with each calendar entry. I don't think alightner will implement this. She's not very keen on special requests outside the calendar mod :)

I have another question (more of a style thing, but maybe you have a quick answer). When a user has a lot of points, displaying the amount in the linklist can make the linklist too long. Then I get an error like this one:

Image

Is there a solution for this problem? I'm using prosilver_se.

Maybe if I could set the whole linklist one line lower, using the whole width of the navbar (I don't know how to do this)?
