I tested using a different color, and that aspect of functionality seems to work as intended. I'm just a little confused on how to integrate that with any class on the subsilver2 style (or if I even should) because then it would probably interfere with the ability for the coloring to work.

works perfectly fine for me and other groups (I think) at my board, just maybe the odd bug here and there, but nothing too serious really

I'll test with other groups that don't have MCP access and such, but this is the first I've heard of this bug. Thanks for reporting it and I'll look into it some.

well I just did a quick test with my resolved TMM to assign the resolved prefix without editing the first post and it just told me that I didn't have the permissions, now after assigning some moderator permissions I can confirm its thrown up the general module not accessible error :(

Ok... I think it's as easy as adding a new moderator permission to allow users to use multi-mods when allowed per mod.

It works per group if that group has moderator permission. I am finishing up school this week (Graduation's on Friday) and I'll work on a fix when I get a chance. Sorry that it doesn't work completey right now.

I got some free time since school just ended (WOO) and was looking in the functions_tmm.php file to see if I could find where the coloring was being implemented, and I found:

Code: Select all

		$prefix = utf8_normalize_nfc($row['prefix_title']);
		$color = $row['prefix_color_hex'];
		$color = ($color == '') ? '000000' : $color;
		$prefix = '<span style="font-weight:bold;color:#' . $color . ';">' . $prefix . '</span>';
(Lines 520 - 523)

I was wondering if it was possible to replace the default '000000' with the CSS class that would color the prefix to the same color as the topic title. I'm going to play with it and see what I can try to make out of it.

EDIT ::

I changed around some things to make the default class "gensmall" instead of assigning black as a color.
I basically just changed the code I put before to:

Code: Select all

		$prefix = utf8_normalize_nfc($row['prefix_title']);
		$color = '<span style="font-weight:bold;color:#' . $row['prefix_color_hex'];
		//$color = ($color == '') ? '000000' : $color;
		$color = ($row['prefix_color_hex'] == '') ? '<span class="gensmall" style="font-weight:bold' : $color;
		//$prefix = '<span style="font-weight:bold;color:#' . $color . ';">' . $prefix . '</span>';
		$prefix = $color . ';">' . $prefix . '</span>';
Not sure how organized I made this...but it seems to work.

Also, there is one template file for the MCP, but I can't find where it is displayed. Is it displayed at all?

Thanks.

Is it possible to search for all topics tagged with a specific prefix ?

Also, is it possible to force the user to select a prefix while posting a thread ? And can you enable the mod only for one specific forum ?

thanks !
