hi :)

it seems that you installed the friends mod below the comments mod - thats not your fault! - and the friends mod code is within the "comments" view only. i'll try to change the MOD to make it unambiguous so that this error doesnt occur.

You need to find the friends comment:

Code: Select all

// friend list mod by ian-taylor.ca
..... friend mod code, about 40 lines of code
// end friend list mod by ian-taylor.ca
Cut this whole block of code

Find:

Code: Select all

$sql = 'SELECT COUNT(album_id) AS count from ' . PHOTO_ALBUMS_TABLE . '
					WHERE user_id = ' . $user_id;
			$result = $db->sql_query($sql);
			$no_albums = $db->sql_fetchfield('count');
And paste the Friends MOD code before this.

That should do it, let me know if any other problems arise!

As for the icons..
Make sure you have performed the edits to the /styles/Attriuum/imageset/imageset.cfg and /styles/Attriuum/theme/buttons.css and /styles/Attriuum/theme/colours.css files, and refreshed your imageset and theme. and of course placed the icons in the right folder on your server (styles/attriuum/imageset). if that doesnt work let me know and we'll take it from there to find the problem!

ps. the latest status of each user doesnt have an icon. Also if you've already voted on a post, the vote icon disappears

a_n_n_a_m Thanks for help me!!! your mod is really cool <3!

I could fix the list of friends!
For images, they are in their correct directory. I think problem is not just the images, but functions (probably my own problem). Anyway I'll review the files again to make sure!

Thank you very much again!

Finally it was a button.css problem (i forgot upload changes)! lol ;__;...

I still working to incorporate this mod to my forum, but I'm really troubled with something... in the profile view, the post contents (photos, videos, links, quotes), are larger than the table:

I've been trying changes on the social-profiles.css, but I could not find the correct codes, can you tell me which is the part that i should change?

Thanks and sorry for bothering again x_x!

np :)

try this.

open social-profiles.css

find the style definition for "mem-outer"

and add these two definitions to the existing ones:

Code: Select all

min-width: 550px;
clear: both;
i THINK that that will work. it seems you have a pretty small resolution there!

:) to reduce photo and video size search for this in template/buzz.html

Code: Select all

<!-- ELSEIF postrow.S_IS_PHOTO -->
				<dt><a href="{postrow.LOCATION}" onclick="window.open(this.href); return false;"><img src="{postrow.U_BASE}thumb.php?x=400&y=300&f=0&src={postrow.LOCATION}" alt="{postrow.LOCATION}" /></a></dt>
				<!-- IF postrow.CAPTION != '' -->
				<dd>-- {postrow.CAPTION}</dd>
				<!-- ENDIF -->
			<!-- ELSEIF postrow.S_IS_VIDEO -->
				<dt>
				<object width="400" height="324"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/{postrow.LOCATION}&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/{postrow.LOCATION}&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="400" height="324"></embed></object>
				</dt>
in the line

Code: Select all

<img src="{postrow.U_BASE}thumb.php?x=400&y=300&f=0&src={postrow.LOCATION}" alt="{postrow.LOCATION}" />
replace the x= and y= variables to change the photo size.

and in the <object> tag, change width and height for video. also do that for the <embed> tag.

First of all, your mod is just amazing. I love it!!
But I've got a little problem with the images in the tumblog, there is always this really ugly red cross
Image
The image I tryed to post shouldn't be to big (just 219x90) and I tryed from different sources: the original website, my own webspace and from ImageShack, but it doesn't work.
You got any idea??

it seems you are missing the page thumb.php (in the root folder of your forum). first make sure its there.

if it is, try the following url:

http://www.yoursite.com/yourforum/thumb ... photoslink <-- replace yoursite, yourforum and yourphotoslink

and check out the error message that is displayed. let me know!

Ok, the thumb.php is in the root folder.
I'm not sure, what exactly do you mean with "yourphotoslink"? Do you mean the "photos" folder or the ImageShack-Link??
The message for the "photos" folder:
Warning: ini_set() has been disabled for security reasons in /usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/othertest/phpBB3/thumb.php on line 109
Source image does not exist!
The message for the ImageShack-Link:
Warning: ini_set() has been disabled for security reasons in /usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/othertest/phpBB3/thumb.php on line 109

Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in /usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/othertest/phpBB3/includes/image.class.php on line 100
Hope you can help.

i was refering to the imageshack link

well it appears that u have two problems:

the function ini_set() has been disabled by your host.. you can contact them and ask them to enable it.. it's only a warning and i'm not sure if it will still cause a problem when the second problem is solved, but im guessing it will.

the second problem is that your server does not recognise the curl_init() function.. you either have a php version less than 4.0.2 (which i doubt as its pretty old) or your host has also disabled curl support. again you need to contact them.

alternatively, if the host does not agree to enable ini_set() and curl, or if you dont want to enable them, i can give you a piece of code to replace the parts that are causing you trouble. the only issue is that thumb.php is used to create thumbnails of the photos so that less bandwidth is consumed, and the page loading time is kept to a minimum. the code I would provide would simply download the full image each time and resize it to to fit the minimum dimensions.

Ok, thanks for your help! It's just a free webspace i use as testserver. These options should be enabled on the live-server, i think. So when i go live with this mod, it should work. If it doesn't I'll come back to your offer. ;)
