Thanks!
kk my site root is now http://www.royalpararegiment.com

Now I've tried

Code: Select all

hs.graphicsDir = '{ROOT_PATH}highslide/graphics/';
If i check this with "view source code" (Browser option) i get:

Code: Select all

hs.graphicsDir = './highslide/graphics/';
Tried full URL as well:

Code: Select all

hs.graphicsDir = 'http://www.royalpararegiment.com/phpBB3/highslide/graphics/';
Nothing helps.

I think i know why

try:
http://www.royalpararegiment.com/highslide/graphics/

If that doesn't work, it's something to do with your htaccess or jfusion

no won't work. Guess you're right and it's a problem with jfusion framless integration..
Anyway i'll keep it as it is, thanks a lot for your help.

Hi everybody,
I love to use this mod, but how can I use it on pages outside phpbb?
I use this mod: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 1&t=587812; that is to show forum threads on a html website page. And when I try to use the Higslide attachement mod with it, it only shows the pictures on the html page like: 1.jpg, 2.jpg etc.
Is it possible to change something in the script so that the images are also visible and working with zoom on pages outside phpbb?

sorry for the English translation through an online translator

what am I doing wrong?
downloaded version - 4.1.8 Mod - v4.0.5: of the first message

archive highslide unpacked in the root directory of the forum - in my_site/forum/highslide

changed under the instruction files:
- Styles / prosilver / template / overall_header.html
- Styles / prosilver / template / attachment.html

cleaning the cache, the theme prosilver updated, but not seen to be set to Highslide Gallery phbb (version phpBB-Gallery 1.0.5, version 3.0.8 forum)

I think it is possible..i dont have the skills/time to do it...but surely you can find the cooding info on highslide.com.

There could be a problem with html that can not see the renamed pictures in php (from xxxx.jpg to letters/numbers)

sorry i cant help you.. :oops:

I try and get some help at the highslide forum, but most of the time they refer back to here.
But I understand that you don't know how to do it. I can't even make a mod like you do, so it is ok. :)

Did you remember this?:
Go to....ACP->Attachment Settings->
Create thumbnail: "Create a thumbnail in all possible situations"..MUST! set to" YES"

Sometimes clearing Browser cache(history) can help.
version phpBB-Gallery 1.0.5
Looks like you have a gallery MOD installed??
Maybe this also uses highslide or other viewer.Look in the code

I try and get some help at the highslide forum, but most of the time they refer back to here.
But I understand that you don't know how to do it
Last year i tried to implement highslide in my html page with pictures from php. But i could not get it to work. Same as you it just shows letters (xxxx.jpg) and not the picture. In html, highslide needs pictures and thumb with extension.(xxxxx.jpg)

I also use a mod that extract text from my forum to my html webpage.Topic Extraction (news, latest topics etc) - 0.2.3. And I have also looked for a Mod that can extract uploaded pictures from phpbb.This would require the mod to make a thumb, and send the uploaded jpg and thumb to a folder before phpbb renames the .jpg to letters/numbers..or you will have to take alot off phpbb stuff to your html page, and rename your html to .php

So with lack of skills i will wait for MOD, or live with what i do now. That is manually to download from phpbb and move pictures to a folder, and implement in html code.I use a slideshow script. This also prevent a MOD from screwing up aspect ratio...also if lets say 50 pictures by 20 people is uploaded to phpbb the viewer wont see the first uploaded picture that much.

I can not do - "Create a thumbnail in all possible situations"..MUST! set to" YES" because I do not have this option

There are only three options:
-open a page with pictures and comments
-open image
-No links
Looks like you have a gallery MOD installed??

Lytebox and Highslide not set
where and what to look out for? please tell me

I do not have this option
you should have..you must be looking the wrong place in ACP. Attachment settings have many options(like over 20).Its the first choise after "board config.." Look in ACP->general->attachment settings and then scroll down to bottom. If still you can not find it, then check you have admin rights in ACP.
Highslide Gallery phbb (version phpBB-Gallery 1.0.5
I dont understand. Do you have a mod called Gallery 1.0.5 installed?
Lytebox and Highslide not set
not installed?
where and what to look out for
if you have a gallery mod installed it could use a viewer like lytebox or highslide. Maybe that mod also uses code in the overall_header or attachment.

Gallery - 1.0.5
url - http://www.okidea.biz/forum/gallery

then the gallery has established Highslide

Hello all.

First of all, thanks for this great mod. I just installed it and it seems to be working well, except for one issue. I have set the maximum file size to 2 MiB, but was able to successfully attach an image that was 3.18MB. Any idea why I was able to do this without an error ocurring?

Thanks for any help you may offer.

That wouldn't be a problem with this mod. Did you use the img tag or did you add it as an attachment. I would just rely on image size constrictions.

Thanks for your reply. You are right. I just found out it is because admin do not have size restrictions.

all the best,
Joe
