I will not further develop AJAX Quick Edit, since that MOD has some major design flaws.

I created jQuery Quick Edit from scratch and this time I was able to implement everything I expect of this MOD.
The good thing is that jQE can be expanded, therefore I think it will be possible to add a jQuery Quick Reply, but I don't want to promise too much.

@4_seven: That pretty much sums it up. :)

What flows are there in that mod?

I will quote the MOD validation of AJAX Quick Edit 1.0.11:
[...]
Also I am able to bypass the max quote embed of the forum (no error is given as when editing normally).
[...]
If a user does not have the correct auths to use images/flash/bbcode/smilies within a forum, the quickedit will allow it bypassing the auths for the user and posting the flash or image into the post even though the buttons no longer display in the editor.
In order to fix this, I would have to completely rebuild AJAX Quick Edit. Since I was going to switch to jQuery anyhow, I decided to completely build a new MOD from scratch.

I hope that clears up the confusion. ;)

edit: I'll see what I can do with Prime Post Revisions. ;)

edit2: I added an Add-On for Prime Post Revisions to the contrib folder of the package. Just download the updated package.

Hi marc :)

I just installed this nice mod on my localhost it seems that everything is fine, but is it normal we have to refresh the page after we make quick edit to see the effect.
because I see this:
Modification Description: Edit posts quickly without reloading the page.
I don't know why this happened

and thank you very much for Prime Post Revision Add-On, works great. :D

Edit: solved it .. everything is fine now :D

Thanks Great Mod 8-)

How hard would it be to make this mod the same as the other one?

I'd say it wouldn't be extremely hard to change it for someone who knows what he does, but I will not help with that.
Why? Because you will have to rewrite the whole MOD. ;)
