Problems known with Evil Quick Reply / Quick Reply ?

I got a strange message "Post doesnt exist" after installation of this mod ... just searching for the bug.

Greetings

Okay, its an issue in the sql query using evil quick reply (and normal quick reply by phpbb also):

I did uncomment/reinsert the first changes to make it work (in prosilver without treeview):

Code: Select all

	case 'bump':
	case 'reply': //lug
also

Code: Select all

//lug	case 'reply':
	case 'quote':

This query results in "post doesnt exist" error:

Code: Select all

//		$sql = 'SELECT f.*, t.*, ' . ($mode == 'reply' ? "p.post_subject" : 'p.*') . ', u.username, u.username_clean, u.user_sig, u.user_sig_bbcode_uid, u.user_sig_bbcode_bitfield
This is the original one, which works correctly

Code: Select all

		$sql = 'SELECT f.*, t.*, p.*, u.username, u.username_clean, u.user_sig, u.user_sig_bbcode_uid, u.user_sig_bbcode_bitfield
Edit: also this

Code: Select all

// lug $post_data['post_subject']		= (in_array($mode, array('quote', 'edit', 'reply'))) ? $post_data['post_subject'] : ((isset($post_data['topic_title'])) ? $post_data['topic_title'] : '');
$post_data['post_subject']		= (in_array($mode, array('quote', 'edit'))) ? $post_data['post_subject'] : ((isset($post_data['topic_title'])) ? $post_data['topic_title'] : '');
Hm ... faczinating: All seams to work absolutly okay in both views without the changes in posting.php you made. What are this changes good for? Are they importend for the function and why?

Any idea?

this changes adding the current replay subject text when posting new replay on hi level post,
this changes is not very importend but very recomended for the tree view order

Well, but with this changes the errormessage occurs "No posts exist for this topic" ... in common with both quickreply´s! Is there a option for taking this part into a separate routine with a IF switch, e.g. when Treeview is switched on? (not tested). I´m sorry, but this mod works with this changes in posting.php in normal mode not very stable, see error. So it would be (in my case) better to do this workaround (the sorting is a lesser problem in Treeview) instead loosing postings ;).

Greetings and shalom!

Unfortunately the repeat bug occurs once more, the birthday greetings was send several times in the "post bot mod" -> see there. I dont know where the bug could be. Also the "parent id" bug appears, but that could be in the tree view mod -> see there. (I crosspostet this message on both mod discussions, it seams a common problem)

Greetings

Uwe
