Interesting. Do you have a demo? What about if they go to view new post? would the topic they ignore appear?

Demo board will be in few minutes. In view new post ignoring topic will appear. In my view this is a good solution, because mosts users prefer view unread posts.

I notice in your demo that if a member bookmarks first, then ignores, the topic remains in bookmarks via UCP. is this intended... and so what about subscriptions to topics?

Update to 0.0.2 - ignored topic aren't displayed anywhere - only in UPC, when you ignore topic, it is deleted from bookmarks and subscribes.
The mod is ready for RC.

After installing this MOD my users are complaining that topics they haven't read are being marked read.

If they visit one topic within a forum, all other topics in that forum are marked read.

Do you have a fix for this?

I don't know how to fix that matter.

I tried several times but any methods don't work as I expected.

If I understand correctly:

• Your MOD broke a basic functionality of my forum. If a user found three topics with unread posts in a forum, and visited one of the topics, the other two topics would be marked as read, even though they weren't. Many of my users want to read ALL the unread posts on my board. But it became a lot of work to find the unread posts in the two topics which were wrongly marked as read.
• You don't know how to fix that.

I uninstalled the MOD by restoring all the files of my forum (I made a complete backup of the files and database before beginning). However:

• I still have a new, useless table in my database called "phpbb_topics_ignore".
• In my User Control Panel --> Usergroups --> Manage groups, I still have a permanent reminder of the MOD that doesn't work:
  
  
• If I delete the files /styles/prosilver/template/ucp_main_ignore_topics.html or /styles/subsilver2/template/ucp_main_ignore_topics.html, I get a SQL error message advising me that those useless files are missing. I guess I have to keep those useless files.

My board is permanently worse -- not crippled, but permanently damaged -- by your MOD.

I will never install another BETA mod as long as I live.

You should run first "install_ignore_topics.php" to uninstall the modififacation than restore the files.
Run it and check if mod is installed or not.

What is more, U can delete UCP module of ignore topic in ACP.

I'm guessing this hasn't been modified to work with AutoMod yet.
