The weather link in the mod instructions is for US only. Sorry (out of my control)

However, you can use the code from the Weather.com and it will work.

Install the mod the same way, except instead of using the code from the link in the mod instructions, use the code from weather.com ;)

Please provide the link to the met office code you're referring to.

Click this url > http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/pws/components/

They seem to have a probem with the page widths you may have to scroll down to see what should be at top of the page :)

You can see it in action on my forum > http://www.boltonlive.co.uk/forum/weather.php

Been doing a lot of looking, and finally, I ran across this simple on, you can change size, and add it where ever you want to. Do final adjustment using your editor. I was looking for an English version. ;)
Here's a screen shot where I have put it in my portal area, where I wanted it. I'm using the latest version of subsilver2. But it really doesn't matter, as long as you can do some html edits, and load to your server. Just thought I would mention this. This is a flash, so the cars do move, along with the clouds...
